Good, Bad, Ugly - Bobcats

Good: the season is almost over and hope springs eternal (google it if needed)
Bad: The complaining about bad fans on egriz
Ugly: those awful yellow foam cowboy hats that the cat fans wear

Why was there no safety in the picture? I heard they are really good.
Hike is back with more empty commentary. Awesome. Can you explain to the message board what the run scheme was that occurred on the long run? Can you tell us what front the Griz were in? Did they run a stunt? Can you tell us how many high safeties there were? What gap did the run hit in? I’m happy to help you out after you’re able to answer zero of these questions.

It's obvious they didn't know what defense they were in. When was the last time a team had an 88-yard run against the Griz? In the words of the pod guys, stop accepting mediocrity and spewing false narratives that are hurting Griz football.

Just as I suspected, you have provided zero answers to any of those questions. Just admit you don’t know.

What narrative did I spin? How did am I accepting mediocrity?

Bud, I've been a Griz fan for 40 years and have given more money to the University this year, than you have in your lifetime.

Hooked didn't say the Cats had only 240 yards of rushing. He said that they had 240 yards without the long run. What's wrong with saying that? And, without that long run, the other 24 rushes averaged 4.5. To me, that's interesting information to know.
Use the same logic on Gilman.

He ran for 956 yards on 137 attempts, which is 7 yards per rush.

Take out the longest rush he had for each individual game, and you’re taking out 12 attempts that totaled 413 yards.

End result is 543 yards on 125 attempts. That’s a 4.3 yards per rush average.

So does this mean that Gilman isn’t as good because outside of the long runs he’s not as effective? I certainly don’t think so. Good backs are going to break long runs. The whole idea of taking things out to make it look better is just ludicrous. It happened! You can’t take it out. The run defense is just as responsible for that run as they were all the others.

I said nothing about whether Jones was good or bad based on backing out one long run. I just showed the stat. I found your Gillman stat to be interesting. Why is it so hard for some of you to read what I say? Why do you have to attack things I didn’t say?
