Bobby doesn’t say that. Probably never has. What's bobby favorite line "wait until I get my guys".
Eight years later and I'm still waiting.

He may be their overall best player, but on Saturday, Jones was the best player on the field. Rushed for nearly 200 yards and nearly 8 yards per carry. He must’ve thought he was playing against a small-fry football team.Best player was Mellott.
Jones had a great game. All their running backs have looked great all year. Credit to them. But why do they all look great all year? First is their offensive line and also the threat of Tommy running the ball.He may be their overall best player but on Saturday Jobes was the best player on the field. Nope. Not Jones. Rushed for 197, with one of 88. Averaged 7.5. That’s very good, but 24-109 for 4.5 wouldn’t have been a killer. He may be their overall best player but on Saturday Jobes was the best player on the field. He dominated the game. Made the Griz safeties look like little kids. Mellott was average yesterday. If he plays like he did yesterday they have no chance of winning against quality teams.Nope. Spot on Rico, you've obviously watched some Cat games this year. Cats are committed to strong, deep, talented lines on both sides of the ball. Run the ball, set up the passing game. Stop the run, pressure the QB. When they've lost a national caliber lineman to the portal they've actually come back better the next season. Are their running backs better than Gilman? If you care about that argument you're missing the point. The lines are why the Dakotas are so far ahead of the BSC & the Cats are the best example of a team committing to catching up. Is it time for a coaching change at Montana? Depends on what you want and how many years you're willing to invest to make a culture change.Jones had a great game. Tommy ran the read option well yesterday. Griz D was keyed in on him. That doesn't show up in his stats. But it shows up in teams stats. The TD pass was a very good throw as was the pass to Taco that was the nail in the coffin. Cats started the game with a 9 minute drive that he managed with some key 3rd down conversions. Just because he didn't throw for 200 or run for 200 doesn't mean he didn't play well.He dominated the game. Made the Griz safeties look like little kids. Mellott was average yesterday. He completed 50% of his throws and had 94 yards passing and 50 rushing. UM coaches would take that every day.Tommy ran the read option well yesterday. Griz D was keyed in on him. The coordinators operate within the constraints of the head coach.Bobby is fine. It’s the guys he surrounds himself with that I think need to be re evaluated. We’ve had so many games since Pease has become the OC that we saw like today. Just throwing screen passes and short outs all game.
He constantly proves that if his original plan doesn’t work then he cannot adapt and try something else.
Clif would have destroyed that Cats D yesterday. There were multiple times when Fife could have taken off.Cats D also enjoyed that we had no really dual threat QB like are previous year
with Cliffton...they could home in on our running game and short yard passing...
yeah Fife had one big run but really that was it...no need for a spy...
Yeah I realize that the buck stops with Bobby. But I think he gives his good friends more decision making than anyone on egriz would believe. For all of his flaws loyalty to his staff hasn’t been one of them. The coordinators operate within the constraints of the head coach.

He only carried the ball 10 times and threw it 12 times. I don't think any QB would have thrown for a high percentage in that 2nd half with that wind. I think Cats coaches probably pretty happy he didn't have to carry or throw it more. When you are averaging 6.3 yards a carry and your defense is consistently getting the opponent off the field why throw or run your QB a lot?He completed 50% of his throws and had 94 yards passing and 50 rushing. There’s a lot of good seniors, new unproven QB, and they’re playing Oregon. So they had 2x the underclassmen as the Griz, beat our ass, went 12-0 and all those guys are gonna be bigger and stronger next year but they’re gonna lose 3-4 games? Make it make sense…
Yep and now his brother is one of the cats best defensive players.Mellott was by far best player. However i think two of the next best were a freshman and a sophomore. I wish Taco was a griz and it if i remember right he wanted to be but the griz didn’t want his brother
