Is it time for coaching changes at Montana ?

We’ll see what happens with the portal, but looking at the roster and I don’t see the team doing better next year.

The OL coach is good. Had a lot of success at UND. Can’t make a lot out of nothing, if you get what I’m saying. Overall recruiting needs to get better, especially on the line play.
Agreed. Coach can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear.

This team was in the national championship game a year ago settle down. That said this season might have been the worst coaching job I've ever seen from Hauck. He needs to have a good long look in the mirror because it's clearly not working.
2022 was worse.
That team was more disappointing.

In my opinion, I believe it is time to move on.

I also think that Hauck has been and still is a good coach. I just don't think he's capable of out-performing the bobcats like we should expect...and I don't think he can win a natty.

Safe money don't make money. It worked for the bobcats. They fired Ash, who won conference championships and had a stellar W/L record. But they raised the bar and got a lot better.

Didn't Hauck beat the Cats last season and got to Frisco? How can you say he can't out-perform the Cats, when he did it a year ago?

Well they got a lot worse before they got better. Choate was pretty much a .500 coach while at MSU who had some good post season runs and developed a culture that was elevated with Vigen and some huge support in the valley that they never had decades ago.

Would Griz nation be happy if we burned it all to the ground to rebuild from the ground up for another half decade? Bobby pretty much had to do just that in 2018. He made a quick turn around from the Stitt era and navigated Covid like most coaches had to. In his first tenure he had to change things up when they weren’t working and that resulted in 08-09 runs. I’m assuming there will be a lot of evaluation after the season to try and prevent a repeat of this season. This season has been disappointing, but not nearly as disappointing as most of the 20-teens.
