I guess you didn’t see the PSU player shove Bobby as he separated that kid, gently, from the Griz players he was jawing. I assume that should have been a penalty against against PSU.

Maybe the best human alive. Two students weren't fighting. One adult was verbally assaulting an adolescent.

Bobby initiated contact with the PSU player. Every coach knows that's crossing the line. If he wants to jump in before the officials do he needs to deal with his player. Bobby is lucky that player only shoved him.

Bobby helped separate the players. What he did was positive and want close to crossing a line. You are such a dick.

Football is an emotional game..players yell at each other..coaches yell at each other..coaches yell at players and sometimes vice versa. They got after each other and were hugging within 5 minutes. There is no way anyone could tell me when they were hugging and talking that either one "hated" the other. .

Rico has coached for about 30 years including as head coach at several schools. He knows what he is talking about.

Nothing wrong with raising your voice. Placing your hands on someone is not acceptable. It shows that the adults had lost control on the sideline.

It was resolved in the time it took someone watching the game on TV to grab a beer from the fridge or take a piss. Both sides recognized what happened and made steps to right it..right away. I understand why both sides were frustrated. Two highly competitive individuals. But you can tell the way they talked and hugged after that there is mutual respect. Both coach and player have put their whole lives into this so of course there is a ton of emotion. I tell you what did Fife come out a tear it up after that? That showed me he is pretty mentally tough.

Amazing, the level of 'dialogue' eGriz has fallen to in the last two days. Its like monitoring middle schoolers posting during in-school detention. Not just THIS thread. Of course, BN rejects flock to eGriz like flies to sh*t. Low hanging fruit.

If eGriz posters can't control their own reactions to to those blatantly baiting them, then WHO WILL? Be the adult, ignore those posters who piss ya off.
 
A coach absolutely should step in and separate players during skirmish but that means you remove YOUR PLAYERS not the opposition. The fact that you played more than a half of century ago does not make you an authority on the game. It's obvious that you never coached the game.
