McDowell,

Niether current QB is even close to McDowell. I'm not sure what was a more arrogant decision by Bobby. Forcing McDowell out or leaving Bergen in the game at Northern Colorado with a 24-point lead. Both will cost UM a shot at a national title.
The most obvious arrogance is your suggestion that McDowell is a better QB than either Fife or Ah Yat. I will concede that, because McDowell was bigger, he was a better straight-ahead runner - at least until the playoff games. But that’s it. He was not quicker running to the edge, not a better passer, not a better leader.

I am happy he played for UM but he decided to leave and the offense is much improved this year. Maybe you should troll on the McNeese fan site and tell their fans how much UM misses him.

Hoops know all about distant relatives. Some of his most distant and their second cousins played reffed and coached all games at all levels.
Not sure where you cut and pasted this from, but Hoops knows what he is talking about re “cousin” and how it is used. I once heard an AUSA try to explain it to a Ninth Circuit judge who was confused about testimony in a criminal trial by a Blackfeet tribal member. It was actually pretty amusing.

IMHO, McDowall was never the Griz QB but he was a QB that played for the Griz. He came first, as he was for every school where he played.
Did you feel that way DURING the year? How about when he was 10-0 as a starter? Did you feel that way then? It is it just in retrospect?

As a matter of fact, I did feel that way based on his actions and how the team responded to him.
He reminded me a lot of Justin Roper.
Lol. I literally watched the entire offensive line walk off the field against NAU WHILE our QB (Vidlak) was still scrambling for his life....I saw nothing like that with them and McDowell.

Thx. And I was right on the exact relationship between the 2 Sixkillers.

Two of Sonny's sons went to Dartmouth. One was a lawyer in our law firm. I knew him. Good and smart guy.

"Casey Sixkiller appointed EPA Region 10 Administrator
President Biden will appoint Casey Sixkiller the administrator for EPA Region 10, which covers Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. Sixkiller has served as the Deputy Mayor of Seattle and the Chief Operating Officer of King County, the largest county in Washington. He launched the Cherokee Nation’s Washington D.C. office and served as their lead advocate before Congress and the federal agencies. He began his public career first working for U.S. Rep Jim McDermott (D-WA) and then for U.S. Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA). Sixkiller is a graduate of Seattle Public Schools and Dartmouth College. And, yes, he is the son of famed University of Washington quarterback Sonny Sixkiller."

"Dorsey advised on all phases of this successful public offering. The Dorsey team was led by Partner Jonathan Abram. The multi-office, multi-disciplinary Dorsey team also included: Partners Ken Cutler, Jeff Cadwell, Ross D’Emanuele, Christopher Doerksen, Michael Droke, Aaron Goldstein, Katina Peterson, Brian Rosenau, Scott Smith and Kim Severson; and Associates Nicole Burgmeier, Sarvesh Desai, Kelsey Dolven, Anthony Epps, Kendall Fisher, Morgan Helme, Jesse Sixkiller and Tiana Towns; and Senior Paralegal Deb Vigdal."

If my older family were still alive, I would ask them if we were cousins of Jim Thorpe. Ha.

And yet with CD took over something seemed to click with young griz team and the team that got thumped at NAU was absolutely nothing like the team from then on. He proved to be a gamer. He wasn't always perfect but seemed to make the perfect throw, or run in absolute critical times when it was do or die. Took you to Frisco. He proved to be able to make the play and get you the W when you needed it most. Something that your current QBs haven't been able to do in 2 of your games. Maybe they'l show that ability down teh road, we'll see. There will definitely be a time when your QB has to make a play to win.

You mean the playoff games he won leading the Griz to the national title game? You are one stupid human.

Couldn't be any further from the truth. Were you drunk AF watching or what?
No I was not nor am I drunk, AF or otherwise since I do not drink.
So tell me, at what point did you honestly feel Clifton became a proud and dedicated Griz?
Or any of the other teams he has breezed through in his collegiate career.

McDowell was good enough to lead the Griz to the NC game. That cannot be disputed. He then decided to leave for whatever reason. That also cannot be denied. Can’t that simply be the end of the story or does the dick measuring have to continue?
I vote that we convert this into a pissing match. Tennis scoring. It’s currently deuce. A little cleanup, and we can get back to the pissing.
