What impartial observers? All there is here are a bunch of biased observers. Truth is, the Griz lost for a lot of reasons, but the call in OT wasn't one of them.Disagree. And so do most impartial observers.

Read social media.What impartial observers?
So explain to me how he didn't reestablish in the field of play?Read social media.
He does use both for momentum to make the jump. Feel free to go back to Bankstons previous catch and ask yourself why the refs gave him an extra 3 yards on the catch because of the slide. This isn’t the NFL.Does he or does he not have one foot down in bounds, goes up and catches the ball and comes down in bounds? He doesn't jump off both simultaneously The foot out of bounds is off the ground when the other is in bounds.
And Wistrcill...Tom wistrcill was there which I didn’t know until watching the replay, so we clearly didn’t have enough angles for the ref to look at it and make the right decision.
No matter what arguments are made for or against moving up, getting away from Big Sky officiating would have to be high up on the pro list.
He only needs one foot which he gets with the left after the right comes off the white. Momentum has zero to do with anything. He does use both for momentum to make the jump. lol. See catch rule.He only needs one foot which he gets with the left after the right comes off the white. Momentum has zero to do with anything.
The rule says “immediately”….that reciver ran 3 or 4 more yards out of bounds and did not immediately return to field of play. That’s the part of the rule they blew. You're kind of right. Yes, when he caught the ball, both feet were inbounds. However, as the ball was approaching the receiver, said receiver stepped into the pass while still out of bounds. He didn't establish himself before catching that pass. I believe I'm correct. Unfortunately, I can't make out the small print that someone's posted a few times regarding the rule book.
How does that apply to reestablishing in the field of play when being force out? It doesn't. I am fine with people burying there head trying to make it about a bad call, but it wasn't.lol. See catch rule.
It would seem the official deemed it immediately. The rule says “immediately”….that reciver ran 3 or 4 more yards out of bounds and did not immediately return to field of play. That’s the part of the rule they blew.
That doesn’t make it right. Officials blow calls all day long. They blew this one. I spoke directly to a college official from NAIA and he said they blew the “immediate” return portion if the rule.It would seem the official deemed it immediately.
He doesn't establish both feet back into the field of play. Exactly the definition of "re-establishing".So explain to me how he didn't reestablish in the field of play?

Probably an unpopular take here, but Wistrcill's job is to the whole conference, and his time as commissioner has seen the league become much more prominent in national conversations. I see more Big Sky stuff on Twitter from national folks and on ESPN than I ever did in the decade prior. Hell, the conference has regular season games on ESPN2 now. And this is a media game; the whole thing is a show to get our schools' names out there. And Wistrcill...
The game @ Sac State in 2022 comes to mind in a big way in the wake of yesterday (although with a lot less fighting)The officiating in this conference is an absolute joke
Yeah he shouldn't have touched it considering it was the end zone... Refs fricked that up... That says it all right there. Bad call
That is exactly what I thought when I replayed it several times.I just now saw the supposed game winning TD from ESPN+ on demand.
The BSC officials totally screwed up that call! Regardless if a receiver is forced out or not, said receiver has to reestablish position inbounds. That receiver's step to the thrown ball was from out of bounds. HE NEVER established himself inbounds!
The conference needs to address this one! They better not sugar coat it!
Absolutely terrible call!
It falls under the exception and he did reestablish in the field of play. He was fine touching the ball.Yeah he shouldn't have touched it considering it was the end zone... Refs fricked that up... That says it all right there. Bad call
