You are too inarticulate to express yourself.Trying to defend yourself when you are wrong is pretty hard for you isn't it ?

As Grisly said, it was not “deliberate”. You just proved yourself wrong.A flagrant foul in football is a rule violation that involves illegal physical contact that is so extreme or deliberate that it puts an opponent in danger of serious injury. The consequences of a flagrant foul vary by league, but generally include disqualification for the player and other penalties:
I say it was deliberate and that is why he should have been ejected. You really need to learn football a little more and maybe come back next year when you understand it a little better. As Grisly said, it was not “deliberate”. You just proved yourself wrong.
Why did Bobby complain about the call?
Man, I really don't want to be snarky, but... What defense? Over aggression from blizting almost every play has led to two games that shouldn't have been close, and a loss that should have never happened. After getting run over on the first 2 drives, the Griz stabilized and rallied. Never got rattled. Griz had 24 straight points at one point. Griz first 3 drives were 5, 26 and 0 yards, with the last one being the pick. Bobby: ""Being down 17 to that team, with that offense, was scary to say the least. It was a gut-check, steely-eyed, stare adversity in the face game, and the Griz came out with a resounding W. So that was awesome."
The Griz wore Western Carolina down on both sides of the ball, perhaps even starting in the 3d quarter
Nice strong UM running game, except on a few plays when we got stuffed. 175 yards and 12.5 per carry by Gillman. Some great tough short runs by Ostmo, making 1 or 2 into 3 or 4.
552 TO to 447. Very nice production by the O, including 349 on the ground for 7.3 per rush.
QB’s were both pretty good. Bad pick by Ah Yat. 4 TD’s on ground by him, the most in UM history for a QB. Fife hit some key short passes later in game. 16-27, Ah Yat; 7-10- Fife. Ah Yat was 11-57 running,
Just after I told my wife that the Griz receivers weren’t making enough tough catches, they started making tough catches. Particularly Bergen. And shout out to Racanelli for 4 clutch possession catches. Against tougher competition, the receivers need to make more tough catches. Bergen had some nice catches. Shout out to Raccanelli for 4 nice possession catches, perhaps all for first downs.
12 and 11 penalties and over 100 yards for both teams. Some bad reffing at times. The late hit call on Wilson was total BS. The missed offsides on WC. Some friends told me that the call that Bergen got on WC sidelines may have been a bad call. UM had 5 penalties in first quarter, and I think 3 in the first 4.5 minutes.
175 yards and 12.5 carry by Gillman. Some tough short runs by Ostmo, stretching 1/2 into 3/4.
The WC QB was very accurate, especially shorter. Mixed on long passes. He started out hot at 14-16. Then, 5-18 to finish half, and 11-31 to finish game. 25-47 overall. 340 yards. One receiver had 8 for 229. He was 22-35 against No. Caro. St, with no interceptions.
Morrison averaged 50 yards punting. Both punters had 4 punts. HIs kicking lots good too.
Lee and Tirrell had 11 and 10 tackles. Rostad had 5 tackles. Good for him.
Several players said after game that WC was a good team. WC looked good.
What a great day for football. 25,720 and long game at 3:38.
I hope Ah Yat is fine. I didn’t notice Griz injuries.
Both the Griz O and D are coming on. 46 point and 552 yards is a lot. There is still much to improve, on both sides of the ball. But the team is definitely improving and has more potential. Both QB’s are improving and looking pretty good or good.
Hauck said. "There is obviously progress being made each week. We're not there yet, but those guys are getting better and better. I was proud of Keali'i, and I was proud of Logan coming in and doing the stuff he does really well in the fourth quarter."
No, it wasn’t deliberate. It was a pretty normal football play in a competitive game. I talked to Wilson. You don’t understand the game. You are just a neggie on egriz who frequently says incorrect things.I say it was deliberate and that is why he should have been ejected. You really need to learn football a little more and maybe come back next year when you understand it a little better.
I like the D and the calls. D improving as newer guys getting experience. Had lots of guys to replace. Missing Meyer. Missed Wilson earlier. It’s easily a top 25 D. Blitzing is the D. Without all the blitzing, that qb and passing O would have killed us.Man, I really don't want to be snarky, but... What defense? Over aggression from blizting almost every play has led to two games that shouldn't have been close, and a loss that should have never happened.
Folks always go after the offense for not scoring enough. Well, they ARE scoring this year. It's not the talent on the Defense or play that's the issue for me. I am livid about the coaching and how a top FCS defense last year isn't even a top 25 this year is a travesty; graduation should never make a top 5 defense roll in at 43rd as year later.
I'll say it, the "Co-DC" situation is pretty much intolerable.
The problem wasn’t that he hit the QB, it was that he continued to drive him back several yards and then drove him into the ground. It doesn’t matter whether he knew the ball was out or not. It was a by the book late hit.Me too. This is not a black and white rule where it's just simple. There are many factors that go into making the correct call. But I find it hilarious how some people think after Riley is running full speed, that he should've stopped on a dime to not hit the QB. Haha now that's ridiculous
Did you expect Wilson to say he did it deliberately? Lol.No, it wasn’t deliberate. It was a pretty normal football play in a competitive game. I talked to Wilson. You don’t understand the game. You are just a neggie on egriz who frequently says incorrect things.
I believe it also has a lot to do with the crown of the helmet and whether or not its used in a way the ref feels it is unsafe. I've always felt the natural inclination is to lower your head however that does make for a much more dangerous impact.Watch the play back at full speed, not at slow motion. Slow motion replays give us way too much opportunity to think that that these are not "bang, bang" instantaneous plays. Wilson was running full speed at the QB and made contact nearly instantaneously after he threw it. A few steps later they are going to the ground. You can't just suddenly stop that momentum when you are running full speed and trying to get a sack, it is just a physical impossibility. He then fell down on top of the QB, as the momentum carried him. You can call it a foul, that's fine, I really don't care. But there was no ill intent that we can see from just watching that play. If you watch it at slow motion, it provides a false impression that Wilson could have stopped. If you watch it at full speed, it is obvious to me there was no way to stop that momentum.
I really don't understand, just in terms of basic physics, how that first Wilson flag could have gone any different. And if that deserves a flag, its fine, but I don't see that as intentional or as dirty in any way. He is a big guy moving very, very fast. The entire thing happened in just a couple of seconds.
It wasn’t late hit. It was called roughing the passer. Why do you think Bobby complained to the ref about it?The problem wasn’t that he hit the QB, it was that he continued to drive him back several yards and then drove him into the ground. I would expect a friend to tell me what went on. I know him fairly well.Did you expect Wilson to say he did it deliberately? Lol.
That’s like saying I talked to OJ and he said he didn’t kill anybody.
Oh, I was meaning the first one where they said he roughed the passer by driving him to the ground, but I'd agree that the second was also a "bang bang" play. I don't think he led with the crown, per se, but i get why they made the call. I'm not even mad at either flag bring thrown, but I am seeing and hearing a lot of "intentional" and "dirty" words being thrown around here, on other social media, and even when I was hanging out with friends on Sunday. I don't believe that to be the case.I believe it also has a lot to do with the crown of the helmet and whether or not its used in a way the ref feels it is unsafe. On this play, Wilson tackles with his left shoulder and his helmet goes behind the qb, who rotated left as he threw the ball.I believe it also has a lot to do with the crown of the helmet and whether or not it’s used in a way the ref feels it is unsafe. I've always felt the natural inclination is to lower your head however that does make for a much more dangerous impact.
I agree, I don't believe he did that intentionally... the two WCU fans I spoke with after the game said the same thing. Said he played with a great tenacity...Oh, I was meaning the first one where they said he roughed the passer by driving him to the ground, but I'd agree that the second was also a "bang bang" play. A late hit is called roughing the passer. It wasn’t late hit. It was called roughing the passer. Why do you think Bobby complained to the ref about it?
Hard for him to understand. He needs to carry a dictionary and a football rules book with him at all times. Not sure it would help but it's a start.A late hit is called roughing the passer.
No, a late hit is something else and can have nothing to do with a passer. Wilson's call was not for late hit; it was for roughing. It was called for what happened after the tackle. Some of you guys need to learn more about the game. Jeez.A late hit is called roughing the passer.
Maybe soccer or roller derby are better suited for your tastes? Both penalties on hits on the WC QB were good calls. On the late hit Wilson drove him back five yards and slammed him into the ground with all his body weight. (The WC coach said he gat a 2nd degree separation on his left shoulder.) And, the targeting call was legitimate. I thought he could have knocked him out with his helmet under his chin. I thought both were dirty hits and totally uncalled for.
My goodness. You can be pedantic sometimes. No, a late hit is something else and can have nothing to do with a passer. Wilson's call was not for late hit; it was for roughing. It was called for what happened after the tackle. Some of you guys need to learn more about the game. Jeez.
