It was a nice win

To be clear, I disagree with what you just said. Have you ever played football?
You obviously have. I was totally amazed by one of your recent posts.

The one where you said if the Griz passed, caught, ran, tackled, kicked, intercepted, punted, and just generally did everything better than they are doing now they would have better results.

Only someone who played the game at a very high level could come up with an observation like that one!

To be clear, both of the flags thrown on Riley Wilson were obvious calls. The first play was pretty dirty in my opinion
And he should have been ejected from the game for it on the first play.It was obvious his intention was to cause injury to the QB which he did.The QB is one TSB.He did not quit even thou his arm was dangling at his side. Yea it's a rough sport but there is a reason the roughing the passer call is there.

Disagree. 1st play assume he didn’t know the QB had thrown the ball.
2nd play was literally a textbook tackle.

On a side note: The refs/league need to figure out WTF PI is. Because what they DO and DON’T call PI is all over the fucking board. Frustrating as hell…
cmon man. If he didn’t know the QB had the ball out, he was playing with his eyes closed! It wasn’t exactly a bang bang play.

Lol “obvious he was trying to cause injury”. GTFO of here with that weak sauce. Shit like that happens literally every single game.

And I was right on those things, except I said nothing on punting. I didn't say the Griz needed better players or better coaches. Better players is what most teams need. I didn't say they needed better short and medium passing or better kickers, punters or long snappers. I didn't say they needed better blocking or better lineman. I didn't say they needed better KO and punt coverage. I didn't say they needed better kick and punt returners. I didn't say the Griz needed more heart, more desire, more hustle, or harder hitting. The Griz just need to improve on some of things they are doing, and are completely capable of doing those things.

It looks like you don't know much about football, and you don't know what's important to successful teams, do you? Your basketball bench warming didn't get you any football knowledg.

Players can't get ejected for doing that. It's obvious you don't know much about football, tacking and rusher the passer.

Its pretty obvious you don't know shit about football with your comments.

"Can you get ejected for roughing the passer?

Any time the roughing the passer penalty is called, the committing team gets a loss of 15 yards. It's also an automatic first down for the other team. The player who is called for the penalty can be disqualified from the game, if the roughing is deemed flagrant by the officials.Aug 18, 2023 "

That was intentional and flagrant.

Completely disagree it was flagrant which implies intent. There is nothing about the play before or after that suggests he intended to hurt the QB. Had he celebrated or taunted, yeah, flagrant. Otherwise just a tough, bang, bang play. The end.

I understand that. He got the penalty for driving him into the ground. They’re all taught that when the ball is out, you let off. He continued for several yards and drove the QB into the ground, injuring the QB. Driving the QB into the ground is what got the penalty.

Objectively, if that same play happened to Ah Yat, a lot of people here would call it dirty. Wilson’s head was up the entire time, like it should be, he saw the ball get out of the QB’s hand. It was a stupid play.
It did happen to Ah Yat at least 3 times when they played North Dakota and not one roughing the passer call.

You didn't say anything about flagrant in your first post. You said trying to cause injury. Almost every hard hit in football could be said to be trying to cause injury. If you want to use the rule on flagrant roughing, then say "flagrant". You don't know what you are talking about, or are some imprecise that no one else knows what you are trying to say.

The ball was out well before he touched the QB. Unless he’s playing with his eyes closed, he knew the ball was out.
Nope. Wilson was lowering his helmet as he hit the qb in the left side. Wilson used his left shoulder. His head was almost immediately behind the qb's back. The ball and throwing arm were on the opposite side of where Wilson was making the tackle and where his head was. In a tackling situation like this, the tackler usually does not see the ball release, but can often sense that the ball has been released. The tackler's eyes are on the player, not the ball or the arm. Also, tacklers often close their eyes at the time of contact.

Trying to defend yourself when you are wrong is pretty hard for you isn't it ?

A flagrant foul in football is a rule violation that involves illegal physical contact that is so extreme or deliberate that it puts an opponent in danger of serious injury. The consequences of a flagrant foul vary by league, but generally include disqualification for the player and other penalties:
