I’m hearing position moves: Hustad (LB) , Klucewich (S), Childs (S or LB), C Rostad (LB - retiring) etc. Any other position moves or retirements?

Hustedt would be a huge LB if he moved back, he definitely put on size to play on the line the last few years. Could work well with how often we have our backers on the line. Klucewich is an amazing tackler so that move back could work. I love seeing him on the field.
Childs moving to defense is surprising, but with our RB depth it could be a smart move. His work ethic and dedication is commendable.
C Rostad retiring hasn’t had anything publicized yet, but if it is true,I wish him the best.
Hopefully we can consistently put our best players on the field, the roster looks great so far.

Hayden Harris started every game at DE for the Griz. He shouldn't be listed as a DT unless something changed after the season.

He isn't. They are listed by last name. Hayden Harris is a DE. Our new transfer that is expected to start at DT is named Patrick Hayden.

I took GrizWin99's list of rostered players (Thank you very much for putting the list together) and blended the signed freshmen into the positions I think they will play, and adding each player's class behind them. A few notes, I tried to differentiate the classes from oldest to youngest. The list is not my guess on who are the starters. Interesting to see the class breakdowns. After the last few years of Covid redshirts, it appears the team is more balanced, with one notable exception, very young on the OL, with only two Seniors. Also, I took the class info from the roster and news story on GoGriz announcing the recent signings. Question marks for what class Phillips (WR) and Silver (K) actually are. Silver should be a sophomore. Phillips should be a junior out of Juco. Also, don't know about any grey-shirt exceptions for this upcoming year. For example, does Grossman get a Grey-shirt year, Leonard was hurt early this year and missed most, or the entire year. Anyone with more info on the grey-shirt rules could chime in.

I know there has been discussions about the need for another OL and DT. But I'm excited to see how the younger guys have grown and see how they perform. Very excited for this upcoming year! Go Griz!

Nice breakdown.
I believe Ah Yat is a Redshirt Freshman. Nuce should be a Redshirt Jr. Neither one played in 4 regular season games so did not burn eligibility. Maybe Nuce already used a redshirt year but I don't think so as he was listed as a Jr. on 2023 roster.

Man, our WR room is gonna be hit hard after this year.

What an impressive group of seniors.

Agreed on the seniors. None of them might make anyone's "Best Grizzly Receivers List", except maybe Junior. But I'm not sure when the entire WR corps have been this stacked. Or this experienced. I think all of the seniors have started at least one game during their careers.

But, I know Deck has played some already and Alford was a highly touted recruit. So, cupboard is not entirely bare after this year.

Childs was a much more coveted defensive recruit coming out of high school at LB/Safety. Tripped to and I believe offered by Kansas St. One of the reasons he chose to come here was the opportunity to play running back.

Next year may very well be a year that we are all saying "You know, this transfer portal stuff really doesn't hurt football at all...."
