Sometimes kids also get the Titanic effect and abandon the good ship-- Wolf Pack in this case which Captain Chowda has run straight into the ice berg-- before she slips completely below the waves. I'm thinking it can't be a lot of fun going 3-9 and knowing by late September to mid October that your season is over, and that next year, there's a pretty good chance you'll have a new staff that may or may not want you. I think a lot of kids in Reno right now are thinking , " Should I jump ship or stick around and take my chances 🤔 ? "
 
Man... after watching his film from high school, I gotta say, he is probably the one transfer I am most excited to watch play. In almost all of his film (it's highlights of course) he was double teamed and STILL disrupted the backfield. I haven't bought a new Griz jersey since I picked up Eli's NIL jersey. I am gonna get one if he has them on his NIL site. I'd like to add it to the collection bc, IF he stays healthy and at UM, I can see him easily being drafted and playing in the NFL.

The question is if his ability matches the film, then why was he available so late in the portal window?

He hasn’t played so it’s hard to evaluate. Even if he just provides some depth it’s a good get for Griz. Kinda like Deari Todd a couple years ago. The size is needed for sure. Hopefully he’s a surprise and excels.
