Your 2014 football schedule

The Big Sky didn't do the Griz any favors with that road schedule this year. Other interesting thing about this sched is moving the NDSU game. I wonder if the Bison wanted that or Montana and the Bison agreed. Anyway, like others said, the Griz "will play somebody" ALOT this season.

Here's a look at what 2015 has so far.

Sept. 5 vs North Dakota State
Sept. 12 Open
Sept. 19 Open
Sept. 26 vs NAU
Oct. 3 @ UCD
Oct. 10 vs Weber State
Oct. 17 Open
Oct. 24 vs North Dakota
Oct. 31 @ Portland State
Nov. 7 @ Idaho State
Nov. 15 vs Eastern Washington
Nov. 22 @ Montana State

Isn't University of Washington in 2015?

2017.... McTeam in 2015 & 2016

It seems like the home & away with McNeese was scheduled when Clinton was still President. Glad to see that series is finally coming around. Was it stated where the first game will be?

Washington is 2017, I thought McNeese is 2016-17, starting at McNeese and home in 2017. Though it hasn't been announced, talk has been the Griz will play at Oregon State in 2015.

Add: The University of Montana has signed home-and-home football games with fellow Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) powerhouse teams Appalachian State and McNeese State Director of Athletics Jim O'Day announced Thursday.

Montana's series with Appalachian State begins Sept. 1, 2012, in Boone, N.C. The Mountaineers will play in Missoula early in the 2013 season.

The Grizzlies and Cowboys begin their series on Sept. 3, 2016, in Lake Charles, La. McNeese is scheduled to play at Montana Sept. 2, 2017.

I like the schedule. I see us being 7-1 or even 8-0 going into November. If we come out of November with no more than 1 or 2 losses, I will be happy. I like our chances against Wyoming, we return a lot of skill players and our offense should be clicking. Defense will be good as I see our young linebackers filling in nicely. Wyoming will have a new coach and new system but I am sure Bohls will have them ready to play.

Montana requested the change.

Musician, with that road sched, and a younger defense, and a re-vamped offensive line, I'd gladly take 9-3 with a first-round playoff game at home. I hope for better, but with how good NDSU, EWU and Cal Poly are going to be next season, the Griz' going 1-2 with those three teams would be a good thing IMHO.

It'd be a lot of fun if our road opponents were coming to Missoula... Sort of a lame home slate but an exciting schedule.

Here's to JJ being a senior with tons of weapons.

We go 11-1 with a loss at EWU.

Sounds like BOTH UM and NDSU wanted the change. Klieman didn't want to play Montana right after playing Iowa State, and I'm certain the Griz were never thrilled with going to Laramie and Fargo back-to-back. Looks like it worked out for both teams, with the exception being ESPN not being interested.

Are we getting a staff that can actually utilize the weapons consistently? :thumb:

Weak home schedule... Hopefully a night game too

That is a shi**y home schedule. May not be making it to 3 of them next season, definitely not wasting time or money on the trip for Central Wash, even though I believe they almost upset the Griz a few years back.

Anyone looking for 5 seats for some bad overpriced games like homecoming???

And hell, as often as we play at ND (thank you POS BSC) that's damn near a home game for us....

So this will make three years in a row, talk about some bad scheduling by athletic department. Wonder when the trip to North Dakota will be in 2015...

any word on possible $ increase for season tix?

Does a wild bear crap in the woods?

With this home schedule they better consider lowering prices if they expect to sell out half of them. The only one me and my season tix holders will pay top dollar for is against cats, the rest will be sold if need be.

Griz Nation ladies and gentlemen.

1Griz-fan, yeah, you know how it is, Montana has COMPLETE CONTROL over their Big Sky schedule. Boycotting Big Sky home games will REALLY SHOW em' And BTW, I'm pretty certain if the UM can draw over 25,000 for freakin Oklahoma Panhandle State, they'll be just fine for back-to-back home games against Central and South Dakota in September. But please, bookmark this and remember to PM when your ticks go up for sale. I know plenty of people who will take them off your hands for that almighty TOP DOLLA :thumb:
