The Griz looking so bad Saturday was the equivalent of him winning the superbowl. Today is his victory lap. As I had said, congrats to him I guess.

..Griz haven't really been good since they fired Plugrad...so I think hes been right...suck it up
and demand better...when we beat Huskies they went nuts and got a new coach...last I checked
there doing quite well...ranked #7....we need change to bring us back!

He hasn't, though.

There has not been a point since I joined this board back in 2003 that he wasn't doing exactly what he's doing now. He hated Hauck 1.0, trashed Pflugrad the entire time he was here, and has been doing the same every year since despite telling people now that he loved Pflu. You can literally go back and read his posts from his old banned accounts. There are a lot of people turning on the staff (me included) for a variety of reasons, but this is just what he does. His entire identity is hating on this team and telling people they need to open their eyes to the truth of how much our team sucks.

So forgive me and others who see him come on here acting all high and mighty and roll our eyes when you can just go back and see him saying the exact same shit all season about our teams that went to the national championship. It's all bullshit, even if he happens to be "right" about it this time.

Again i dont know the reputation of everyone on here well at all but it Seems more you're taking your personal dislike of him rather than providing a legitimate argument. Again I'm not getting the impression he's celebrating the Griz losing, it's merely the unfortunate vindication that what he and several of us have been warning about in particular since last season.

2 things can be true at once, you can be disappointed that Montana looks so bad and be vindicated when you were proven right especially after being attacked repeatedly (which I have witnessed and been attacked myself on this forum) for Daring to question anything this coaching staff does.

Things are bad dude. Really bad. It's OK to admit it. This is a FAN(ATIC) message board.

Oh, I've agreed it was really bad. Of course that was a terrible game for everyone. Playing, watching, coaching, anything. That sucked. I'm not sugar coating that. But I'm going to retain some hope that the ship can be righted. I'm not going to start skipping games, so I'm going to keep rooting for them to pull out a win every week. Otherwise I might as well not go.

You can be a fan and realistic at the same time. Be the fan, wanting them to win, and in the same breathe don’t sugar coat what is wrong. Agreeing with people who are correct isn’t a flaw.

The Griz should have never fallen this far before changes are made.

The successful teams, NDSU and SDSU, have coaches move on; Bohl, Klieman as head coaches. Vigen and Eck just to name a couple as non-head coaches. Teams come for them. How many teams are coming for a Griz coach? Nobody is looking at Bobby, he failed when he left the Griz, and had to come back, and that has been a failure.

My brother-in-law a huge Griz fan and alum, says the Bison are done every time a coach leaves. I laugh as they don’t miss a beat. A great coach/manager is always training his replacement.

Just drove back to PHX from Flagstaff. Spent long hours at the Little America bar following the debacle-at-the-dome with several Griz fans. I think you might imagine what we were discussing as we tried to drown our sorrows at the disgusting display we endured on the Walk-Up Dome turf.

We sat directly behind the Grizzly bench, and were able to witness up close and personal the utter dysfunction of a team who was undermanned, out-hustled, unprepared, and out-coached.

This was truly the most disappointing Griz football game that I have witnessed in as many years as in memory. We were awful in every aspect of the game. There are no silver linings. And if I read one more comment such as "we have work to do" from posters on here, I am going to hurl!

I'm not going to re-hash specific aspects of this game, but suffice it to say that this season should be the final straw in the Bobby 2.0 experiment, which has been an abject failure.

To see Hoops and Kem disappear, as they should, is no surprise. Even these two Hauck spin-masters have no ammunition to explain this thing we witnessed. We were a 21-point favorite, and lost by 14.

I guess I take some satisfaction in being exonerated for advocating changes in our coaching staff since last season. I took a scat-load of B.S. from some of you for being a "bad fan", or a "negative nellie". But, who are the real bad fans??? To me, anyone obtuse enough after watching the Hauck performance last season to continue to support him as coach only displays that they are pedestrian fans, with little clue about the game of football, and unwilling to call for a change in the staff for fear of being labeled a bad fan. And so, they continue to spin it, and to make excuses.

And now, most of those same posters have jumped on the bandwagon with me. Just proves how little most of the posters on here know about evaluating a football team. I have said over-and-over again that the egriz posters who tend to support Hauck are NOT consistent with the majority of Griz Nation, who have been unhappy with the direction of this program for 2-3 years. And, I was correct about this.

"Things that we did the first day of spring practice. I'm sure they did it all summer on their own and didn't bust it once and we had quite a bit of that today in that game.“

Yea, that is all true. My memory when I heard it was that he was taking responsibility for that. Seeing it in writing, especially "busts on things that are first day fundamental things," does sound like passing the blame. When I first heard it I took it the opposite, but I'll go listen to it again. It will be interesting to see what is said tonight.

I agree with the above poster that if it is just "blame the players," then that would be a serious problem.

I think Green is one of our best assets to the team, and from hearing from recruits, it sounds like good ol' Bobby has his thumb firmly over how Green runs the recruiting, ie. MT boys first, even if there is an out-of-state recruit who is better. I think after having read the board for a few days and seeing what has happened, the common denominator is that Bobby needs to go. He hamstrings our offense with "Bobby ball", he hamstrings our defense with the 3-3-5, and he hamstrings our recruiting wanting MT boys. At the end of the day, these assistants can only do so much. I do also hope we keep Bradford around and allow him to run a defensive scheme that he knows how to run, he has good potential I think.
