Yeesh.

At least they were sanctioned right away. Is there a communication problem with the team? Are they not getting the message?

Look at it this way. The coach was strong enough to break the window. That is a plus.

#2 he was out drinking in a bar until 2:00 AM Sunday morning.

#3 he was still able to break glass while drunk as a skunk.

#4 he was not with any of the players.

#5 he did manage to keep his name out of the paper.

#6 I doubt if Delaney could break any glass after a full night of drinking.

#7 Florio may have the facts wrong and it just might be a bobcat coach that lost his mind.

# 8 - 9 - and 10. Perhaps he was with Growler at the MO club. Two in the AM, strong drinker..... give him credit!

If any of this is true. Haslam will fire his butt!

Somewhere, I'm sure Pat Williams just popped a "I told you so smile" :)

I don't think Pat was referring to the white, Montana boys with his "thug" comments... I could be wrong though, I don't remember Pat clarifying himself.

Some of you people are disappointing at best. Ist of all there is no concrete evidence that this happened other than a media report. Secondly the article states a Griz coach supposedly broke a window. Lets see we have tennis coaches, basketball coaches, track coaches, a golf coach, and so on. Of course some people have to extrapolate this to mean a football coach and therefore crucify the entire program. IF there is any thing to this let it surface with some type of meaning not on some football forum where the tail wags the dog. Call me naive but I feel confident most of you have really missed the boat here.
Harris on the other hand really messed.

Al Capone was a white thug, so was J Edgar Hoover, since when did thuggery become a race issue?

all else aside, regarding the microscope the football team is under, no excuses and it's not funny...bo harris, you cannot fix stupid....

Coulter Nuanez had some more info to share on BN:

The Harris DUI, the article speaks for itself.

The second part is certainly true. I have a few eye-witness sources who say the majority of the UM football team was downtown in Missoula on Saturday just causing all sorts of ruckus. A player and a coach, who shall remain anonymous, got in an altercation that resulted in a smashed window and a trip to the emergency room for the puncher. The fact that coaches and players were partaking in extra-curriculars together in itself is appalling.

I haven't seen the majority of the Montana State football team out in downtown Bozeman cumulatively in my entire time living here! The more things change, the more they seem to stay the same on the west side of the divide...

If all true this frustrates the hell out of me.

It may frustrate you, but it doesn't surprise me on bit :thumb:

Since Progressives figured out PC was a good way to control the masses.

Maybe there needs to be a "no drinking" rule while "on scholarship." I know it's wishful thinking, but it seems that 100% of the teams off of the field issues are directly related to alcohol use.

Seriously folks. This supposedly happened downtown on a Saturday night and there is absolutely no talk of a group of football players causing havoc. The only one causing havoc is Nuanez by piggy backing unrelated stories in a pack of lies. Good grief people! :bad:

Tickets are reduced to half price. Due to the half assed reputation of our players.

Royce fixed the "problem" by firing the best coach we have had in the last 17 years.

Delaney was in Butte at his home during the nasty goings on.

Next we will see this disease drop down to the high school level.

Griz need to keep this "stupid" going enabling Florio to keep her job.

In the end firing the AD and head football coach did nothing but make some NCAA jerk happy.

Did NOTHING to CLEAN up the tainted reputation of our Griz football team! NOTHING!
