WSU's Kemonee Jenkins interested in transferring to Montana

His assessment from high school

CB/ATH Kemonee Jenkins (5’10, 170, ’15) – Jenkins, another senior, is a playmaker on both sides of the ball for the Lancers. On defense, he’s tasked with shutting down the opponents’ best wideout and on offense, he will play some tailback, but he’ll but a lot more looks out of the slot. Jenkins doesn’t have elite speed, but he possesses football speed and he’s not afraid to stick his nose in and mix it up with the big boys.

I doubt he is misleading anyone. Usually with time, his information does have some legs. We likely won't know more about this until after football season. :thumb:

From Scout it appears he was a walk-on at WSU. If he is not on the roster maybe he got disenchanted with the process and decided to take his skills elsewhere and try to obtain a scholarship. I think Ken Jones is a credible poster and in touch with what is going on with the Lakes HS program and surrounding programs. IMO he is like the old E F Hutton ads - "When Ken Jones speaks people listen"

Insider information ... with the departure of Marquin Russell (JUCO) and Nick Webster (West Point), Caleb Lyons (Montana) can't be the only Lakes Lancers alumni on Montana. What would Drew Miller think? ;)

Plus, I gotta motivate someone from Lakes to restock the linebackers since Nick Webster left to play at Army and KVA and Kose are departing for possible professional opportunities. :thumb:

The 2016 and 2017 Lakes Lancers are talented ... very talented, especially the linebackers and not one of the seniors have been offered. :o

That's going to change 'cause the Defensive Coordinator, ex-NFL Hillary Butler and 2010 All-American and DL coach Sione Potoa'e are gaining more attention for the LLs by contacting their former FBS and NFL connections coaching at the collegiate level. :P

Usually, FCS programs are waiting for the FBS programs to finish recruiting before picking up the scraps, but the programs that get Maika Magalei, Jaiave Magalei, Max Nauer, Chris Hunter, Jo-Bentley Keilani, Yisrael Stephens, Jayson Fatur, Kenny Fua and others will not be disappointed in their selection.

Kemonee Jenkins filled out Montana football's questionnaire, chatted with his friend Caleb Lyons and wanted me to put his Hudl on egriz.com. For those interested, http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1508553/highlights/217274388/v2, Kemonee Jenkins wants to be a Griz football player.

He can't come unless he brings either a D-Tackle or O-Lineman with him.

Zaheer Webb, http://sports.yahoo.com/tcu/football/recruiting/player-Zaheer-Webb-124691, Lakes '12, is sitting on his butt in Lakewood, Washington ... couldn't get help with his learning disability in the JUCO and has 4 years of eligibility left. How's University of Montana with learning disabled? 8-)

Most every one needs a 2nd chance.

Webb is wall eyed. Is that his learning disability? That's a medical problem he could get help with.

When a child exists within a challenging economic, family and social environment having Strabismus is the least of a parent's worries for their child. :( This young man has the talent to compete at the highest levels of collegiate football, but not the assistance needed to overcome the challenges of being poor in society.

Seriously? Don't be a idck.

I'm not being a dick. The kid is wall eyed. That's a condition that makes class work extremely hard. And, yes, it can be corrected.
