And at In-N-Out, one can feed five guys for the price of what he’d pay for 1.5 at Five Guys…with a far superior product.
Is that the In-N-Out Burger on Camrose?

Maybe. I don’t know the address. I just go by smell.

Gotta give 97 props...he is a fun rival trash talker.

Let's not pretend the spuds didn't come into waGriz and control that game. They were simply better.

This year - Griz have a chance to send them to the middle of the BSC pack...where they belong.

Griz QB was sick....I think. Hoops would know.

On top of that, I heard that one of the OL's cousins sister broke up with her bo, and that threw the whole line off their game. If not for a few things like that, the Grizz would have won a NT. Just saying.

God, I miss In-N-Out. I'm still a big fan of Five Guys, but I got ONE burger and fries the other night, and it was nearly $20. The world has gone crazy.

Johnson was sick all week before the game and didn't practice. He didn't run much. He threw the 2 bad late picks. I have never blamed the loss on that, but it's true that Johnson was sick, and off his game. That's just a fact. Idaho is overrated this year. Idaho couldn't even win a playoff game last year.

Last fall, Idaho beat the Griz. Idaho couldn't run, 44 carries averaging 1.2, but threw fairly well. The Griz couldn't run either and threw the 2 bad picks late when I thought they were going to come back and win. Life goes on.

We have them both in San Antonio. In 11 years, I’ve NEVER been to a 5 Guys here. Go to In-N-Out about once a month.

A man of taste. There’s a bunch of INOs, Five Guys, and a few Shake Shacks around me. One intersection in particular (PCH and Second in Long Beach) has all three. I think the latter two struggle because they are inferior and much more expensive.

Not sure which is more overrated, Whataburger or In-N-Out. Probably the latter as their burgers are bland and boring.

Whataburgers are not overrated; always my first stop when going south. 5 Guys is a ton of fries and little beef.

DD animal with chopped chilis next time.
Whataburger is not bad. It’s just Texas’s entry into the regional burger war. It’s kind of similar to Sonic in my experience. Just a wide, flat thing. It’s honestly the best comparison to In-N-Out because it doesn’t cost $20++ for a combo like Five Guys or Shake Shack. Fries are decent, but mid-level Carl’s Jr.-like fries.

That’s another thing about INO: People hate on their fresh-cut fries a lot. Maybe it’s an acquired taste, but I prefer them to any other fast food place. Maybe I don’t like fries. But, I like whatever the long and skinny potato things they serve.

The burger meat itself is not exciting. I've tried them multiple for many years, including recently at Colorado Springs. Heck, Burger King has more flavorful burger meat - and I'm not a fan of them either.

Stay away from their burgers, and I do agree with you. Not sure what 5 Guys you eat at, but little beef is completely wrong. Their REGULAR burger has double pattys. Unless you got Steak and Shake confused with Five Guys; they have world's thinnest burger.

As for going south you can do much better - although I do like Whatburgers chicken. Braum's, which specializes in ice cream, has a far better burger.

Or instead, go to your local butcher and have them do a grind of primarily brisket mixed with a touch of your favorite lean Angus sirloin. Mix with a little granulated garlic, form up to about a half inch thick, with cold hands, put your thumbprint in the middle and finally, season with a good Maldon salt and fresh cracked pepper. Grill in your backyard to your desired level of doneness, and decorate with any bun and condiment combination your heart desires. You'll never taste a better burger. I have yet to find any chain store burger that beats it.

The only reason I would go to any of them is that I can't find my grill in the backyard during winter, or because I need a greasy fry fix. And given the choice, I almost always default to tacos these days. So there's that.

I would second the DD Animal style, I don't know how that could be called bland even without the chilis! I do miss Whataburger, but it was a slightly better Burger King for me. Which I say with kindness.

I will say that I don't understand shake shack. My girlfriend loves it, told me it was the greatest burger of all time. I cannot think of a worse burger outside of the McD's dollar menu....

Gotta agree Whataburger is a staple down here ... especially since they stay open 24 hrs....

I’ve heard this, and I have a theory. INO never freezes its beef, we all know this. But did you know the reason it was only in Southern California for so long is that to expand to other regions, they had to open new distribution centers and get their beef from different sources? So, the DD you get in Houston could taste different than the one in you get in Long Beach.

To me, it’s the best burger money can buy with the freshest ingredients, but I understand that some people like smashed up, thrown together greasy slop more.

Well, he did throw 2 very, very bad picks to close out the game.

If only they had a capable back-up...

Or, was this the game we blame the refs? I get excuse confused sometimes.
