Love of the all helmet designs in this thread. What a bunch of boring individuals you all are. Absolutely nothing wrong with making the helmets more appealing. Honestly, I'm thinking you all would prefer a helmet looking like this, which IMO is the UGLIEST helmet I've ever seen. Boring colors with a big letter on the side of it....oh joy.

I resisted on posting the MSU helmet...no need to hit them when they are down. I mean those fans proclaiming Its-MSU's-Year-For-The-Championship are just going to feel worse when the standings on Saturday evening show their record as 2-3 let alone be informed that their helmets are awful....

They had some rad hats under Hysell for awhile. If I recall correctly, they went with the minimalist approach on the helmets and the W column.

Ok, maybe all chrome would be cool.....as long as our opponents were wearing them. Would be a huge advantage being able to see what's going on around you just by looking at the helmet of the guys that you are lined up across from. Reminds me of those bubble mirror things old folks put on their motor homes to see the picnic table they are about to back over.

Agree. Helmet and uniform combo look good.

Maryland's helmets rock; their whole uniform says "party."

If we had a jersey combo that represented our state flag most people would hate it but it would mean a ton to me and be my favorite.

Our blue state flag might work for the Bozmanian Bobs, but not for us.
