Dickenson seemed to bring us some good success being about 5'11" and not having the strongest arm.

Not necessarily true...it turns into a numbers game balancing scholarships with the current roster breakdown. EWU already has a young QB they like in Hennessey.....hence no place or money for WP.....doesn't mean they think he is a bad player....

While true, Willy went to a non-scholarship program. Had ewoo wanted him, he could have walked on there. I too find it odd that he wasn't snatched up by another bsc team.

Just because Jacksonville doesn't offer Athletic scholarships doesn't mean that Willy did not get aid....

While he's not very big I don't know that I would say he has a "wiener" arm. I watched him practicing in the stadium on his own with a couple of his buddies. He was hitting them in stride from 50 yds. away. I think he'll do well at Jacksonville. I would have liked to see what he could have done in our up tempo offense.

There was a lot of talent there and a terrific young man. He will do well, wherever he goes and whatever he does. UM is the poorer for the loss. The kid is smart, too. He will be an excellent coach someday.

A ton of people were really excited about him....I am just one of the few that think the coaches who are around him constantly probably know more than the fans who dubbed him the next JJ based purely off his high school career.

I think the coaches probably know a little more than the casual egrizzer.
