Stitt and the staff probably want a QB who is deadly accurate on deep balls, really accurate on short passes, very smart, supremely athletic, blazingly fast, a quick learner, and a big threat to run on every play but with a really strong arm. I don't understand why it's so difficult to find a QB like that. It feels like someone is losing control of a certain room equipped with lockers.

sounds easy enough. please pass the word on as I think we'd take one of those too. if you have extras...

Stitt will probably pick up a few of them for competition in camp. I'll let you know if he cuts one so you guys can act like you stole him.

Yeah it was a bit of a generalization but I guess what I'm trying to say is Stitt probably isn't a big fan of "gunslingers" at QB.

And don't take my sarcasm personally. When this conversation erupted mid-season, all the chest thumpers arrived to announce that "Stitt was going to do this," and "Stitt was going to do that" and in particular, "he's going to recruit HIS athletes!"

I'm no chest thumper and I haven't given any predictions on what Stitt may or may not do. Though I fully agree that he will recruit HIS athletes. He knows who HIS athletes are, I don't need to know in advance or second guess him.

In the meantime I am just waiting to see who the coach is putting on the Grizzlies. I will then find out who those athletes are in a few years as we watch them play. Right now, for the most part we have only seen what Stitt would do with Delaney & Pflu's recruits. To be fair we'll need to see how the incoming freshman QB pans outs in about 2019 or so. As the use to tell David Caradine, "Patience Weed Hopper". :ugeek:

They are not in the SEC.

Gresch Jensen has a 58% pass completion rate.

Gustafson 57% high school 55%
Chalich 61% high school 67%
Simis 55%, high school 66% (In the UND game, he got 70%).

I just took my mirror and iPad into the front yard to check, and sure enough, I think you cracked it. You're totally right about Clarence, BTW. I heard he froze a baby and is a serial wart toucher.
