I am trying to get confirmation on Cherry by the end of the weekend. They will likely know for sure tomorrow. I am guessing he is done though this year.

Who cares if he was wrong. Rule's intentions are always honorable and he has been an accurate hoops poster on egriz for years. :thumb: This is just a message board and certainly not the Associated Press. At a time where there is more life on this board than I can remember, I sure don't want to see Rule depart.

Yet you are confirming I heard it from a player without knowing 100%. How ironic is that? It could have been a relative of a player, a coach, a manager, someone I know at the game, or even a reporter. Only I and that person knows. I know that person trusts his or her judgement in what was seen and or heard. I have apologized for this. For those that cannot comprehend "I AM SORRY, and I am glad to heard Will did not break it."

I just got home from work, seen the posts. I am sorry for jumping the gun on that. I heard from someone who was there that heard Will say something like "It is broken" or "I broke it." I don't how much closer someone can be than someone who heard Will say something similar to that?

Once again, speculation. Just because it's not broken doesn't mean it's healthier than we originally thought. Knowing it was broken sometimes is better than knowing it is not because you at least can work with that. In this case, who knows what the hell is wrong and if it is better.

Very true story, and the season is on the short end of the stick? My guess, Ward maybe tourney time and Cherry 50% NCAA tourney time, and we will be in tourney because the guys Ward and Cherry mentored are talented enough to get it done :thumb:

You wonder why in the hell this board loses so many reliable good posters? If, a few of them would come on here and tell us why, you would know. It pisses off good reliable honest posters who have earned a good reputation, when they are jumped all over for a minor thing going wrong. Yet, the majority of time have posted very good stuff, and for the most part reliable. God forbid someone be wrong on this site.

Funnier yet, if someone knew something in advance and later says they knew it, then the same jackasses ask why didn't they post it before? Hmmm, I wonder why that would be? There are some royal jackasses on this board that ruin it for some. For the record Peauxrouge, you are not one of them. A person cannot win on here. Yes, damn right I am pissed. Not only at what was said about me, but the asses that have ran off a few too many good posters. Rather those posters are GRIZ fans, or fans of another team, I don't care. It sucks having good posters ran off because of the royal asses on this board. Yes, they are in the minority, thankfully.

Unlike some, I came back here. I apologized and admitted my information turned out to be wrong. I am eating crow, and if it means Will Cherry returning, that crow never tasted better!!! I will gladly eat crow if it means the GRIZ or an athlete getting better news. I hope the news is he will not miss rest the season. I am sure for those who know that answer, they are not going to post it here. You all can find out with due time on that one.

As for Ward, I will stick by my original post. He is out 2 to 4 weeks if he is to return better than 80%. Is it possible he returns earlier than 2 weeks. Yes, it is possible. We shall all see. If he is out 4 weeks then the GRIZ have the odds stacked against them.
