Damn straight. If we lose at home to a middling sac state.

It will go a long way toward comparing the talents & programs of two big sky schools, but don’t be lulled into believing SacSt is some kind of “middling” team. They had a better conference record than Montana last season & are incredibly veteran as Bobby mentioned in his weekly presser. They’ve got a number of all conference players - two on defense & perhaps the best D-line in the conference overall. This is going to be a tough game.

The Griz are incredibly young & inconsistent so far. It will be an emotional day for the fans & team, but I don’t doubt they’ll be ready to play.

5 minutes after Cat\griz last year a group of powerful donors approach the administration and say - this is unacceptable. Fire Stitt immediately, hire Hauck no matter what it takes, and tell him he beats the Cats in 2018 and makes the playoffs or else. Do it now.

Now contrast that with a “program” who fired its winningest coach and replaced him with a first-time head coach who got a 3-year extension after two losing seasons. Hehe. Really could not be more opposite.
But wait, it gets even better: he claims to want a running team in a passing conf yet three years in and he still can’t decide what kind of offense he wants to run, nor how to recruit a qb for whichever version he eventually settles for.
I’ll say it again: I think hiring Stitt could end up being the worst thing to happen to your “program.”

I wear shorts no matter how cold it is outside. I eat only the spiciest burger on the Red Robin menu. I've never taken an Advil. I like tough-nosed, hard-collared, rugged-toughed, rough-nosed, smash-mouthed, all-star, in-the-trenches football, and I definitely don't like EXCUSES!

I don't disagree that the stars are in alignment, but the line(s) will be what hold them back. O-line has been torn apart in here already, and D-line is great against the run but no push as has been discussed as well. Against what are not the "usual" contenders like Davis, Suck it, Poly, and SUU, they will be exposed. 7-4 and maybe in. Until those 2 areas are addressed, a bit slow going for the Griz. Year 3 for sure, probably next year, perhaps this year...

I think it's close this year, but schedule is exactly how we need it. Next year I'm not sure the schedule but know Oregon is on it so that's an L. Lines will be better next year so think either way should make it. Deep run in year 3.
