Even if charges are not brought or JJ is found innconcent of all charges I would expect him to transfer out of this school. He is either a brain-dead moron for doing this, especially with the incredible scrutiny the U has been under. Or the woman is doing this to him for revenge of some kind due to a personal relationship gone bad. But it wont matter in the end this kid is finished at the University of Montana.

Any rape allegations or sexual misconduct allegations stick like glue to a persons reputation. Most people will assume he is guility and see him in this light no matter what the outcome in the court room.

JJ is guilty until proven innocent in the court of public opinion, and even then he will always be seen in the lens of RAPIST.

No matter what the outcome of this whether its JJ being a rapist brain-dead moron or a woman getting personal revenge on a public figure I think JJ will or should just move on. This is going to stick to his name in this area no matter what the truth is. 50% or more of the people will believe the rape charges no matter what the courts or police decide. Time to transfer out if hes found innocent or not charged.

Theres no escaping sexual assault allegations people will always see you in that light even if your innocent.

It was a Temporary Order of Protection that expires on March 27th. The only news today would be if it was waived, which would mean the court found no reason for the TOP. Next Monday, the court will reassess the the known statements, and see if an extension or permanent order of protection is needed. The continuance is basically a procedural thing, though, so I wouldn't read too much into it. The one interesting bit of news is that the TOP was issued on March 9th, which sets the timeline back a bit.

Unless the "legal expert" PlayerRep has heard differently, of course. I also heard that JJ brought this to Pflu's attention a few weeks ago, fwiw. Not sure what that means, though.

Why would a football player EVER need do anything remotely close to forcing themselves on a girl?

Back when I was in school, pretty much all the girls on campus threw themselves at the football team. Seems if one girl wasn't interested, they could easily find another one.

Thats the issue. They think every girl wants them so when one does say No they don't think she is serious. Especially once you get some alcohol in the system. The line between consensual intercourse and rape can be very blurry.

I will throw some gas on the "Kemp for QB" fire though. KtamPAXs coverage last night showed Kemp bobble the shotgun snap as it was saying JJ was not in attendance. Was that a fluke or was it a matter of KtamPAX throwing gas on the same fire?

Ever wonder why there are no BB players, Track team members, Rodeo team members, Lacrosse team players..... etc. who never seem to ever get into trouble??? :shock: Why is it always the football players??? Can it be that the football players are just bad animals and all the rest are saints??? :roll:

Now that ALL the women on campus know that no matter what they decide to do... tell the truth or tell a lie, the football player will be held responsible and charged whether there ever were an incident or not. Sounds like a lot of false start, backfield in motion, and holding penalties for the team.

Actual proven harassment and sexual abuse need to be reported and dealt with accordingly BUT... does this also open the door for a lot of over reaction by the general University population and Missoula Police???? Just curious what other's have on their minds... Some of this just seems a little bit much ya know.....

It's not clear when the girl doesn't remember having sex and feels it the next day. And girls "don't remember anything" A LOT when they drink.

I should just stay out of this but for some reason I feel like responding. I have a 5 year old daughter and honestly am scared sh*tless for her growing up. But that story the girl wrote also makes me worried for a son I may have someday. They both are drunk. She says yes. But in the middle she decides maybe she doesn't want it. Now he is considered a rapist. That is why I said the line between consensual sex and rape is blurry. If a girl is drunk, even if she says yes, it can be considered rape. There are different degrees of rape for sure but it's still considered rape.
