Who will be Stits replacement?

Are we going to post a thread like this every single gameday?

Yes, until he is gone.

Dude. We are 4-2, 2-1 in conference, with two wins coming on the road. With a freshman QB. With an injury plagued roster.

Do we need to learn how to fucking tackle? Absolutely. Do we need to tighten up the secondary? Yes, and Idaho State isn't a bad team this year; in fact, they're pretty explosive. But the offense is working pretty damn well.

He had a great DC. Pushed him away

You mean the guy that wasn't happy about not getting the HC gig?

Exactly why he had to go. He felt he should have gotten the job and working under someone else at Montana just wasnt going to be doable, too much resentment which is understandable. If you felt you were best for the job it would be more than difficult to work for someone else. Just the same it would be hard for Stitt to work with a guy who thinks he should be doing his job. I am sure there were disagreements and it just wasnt feasible. Who knows if Ty would be a good head coach? He may be a good DC and I am not saying he is or isnt but he may not be head coach material. At this point I am not at all convinced Haslam should have picked Gregorak over Stitt

You have a good post here that makes sense. If what you say is true- Gregorak made a bad move. Why? He made a lateral move. If he would have showed patience and been a true team player he might have been the next HC at Montana. Bummer

Or Stitt would've fired him

Maybe. Unless his defense was too good. His attitude was positive and he bought into the program. Or he could have kept it a competition with the offense led by Stitt

How about his replacement is...

Bob F'n Stitt?

First road win when trailing. This team is trending up.

He would have been a shitshow as a head coach. decent at motivating but not very much bearing.

Happen to agree. I see the offense really starting to work. It is the defense that has me concerned. Would love to see a change at DC.

Agreed. It's what we have to work with, and starting over from scratch will only set us back farther.

Sometimes you have to cut off the leg to save the body from gangrene.
