I've finally had it with what's happening with all the defectors. A picture of BH is officially going up on my dart board tonight!!!So we have a head coach that “retires” using carefully worded speech so late that a national search is in reality not possible, and UM loses out on thousands of dollars with the “retirement” vs resignation then he miraculously gets another job in days, then Assistants interview with his new school, others “retire” and a newly assigned head coach ( with no extended contract) has to try and get a defensive staff together despite candidates knowing he does not have an extended contract with spring practices about to start. Hope you are enjoying it all Bobby.
I think we're looking at a near entire staff rebuild on the defense
That’s a good thing.I think we're looking at a near entire staff rebuild on the defense
Exactly, no idea why people are upset, worried, or criticizing Haslam over this. It was time for the Hauck’s to move on imo. We’re fine. That’s a good thing.
Portal is closed.....taco dowler to Illinois... wouldn't that be something
He could always sit out a year. Not that it makes any sense to thoughPortal is closed.....
I think we can take players as walk ons still. I am not sure how that works at the FBS level with 105 scholarships. He could always sit out a year. Not that it makes any sense to though

Maybe you should throw a couple hundred more posts out about it and see what happens?I think we can take players as walk ons still. I am not sure how that works at the FBS level with 105 scholarships.
I think the challenge is to rebuild the defensive coaching staff with a head coach who is on a 1 year (chance to prove yourself) contract. While, I agree 100% that Montana is a great place to coach football, it doesn't feel like it's the most stable at the moment.Exactly, no idea why people are upset, worried, or criticizing Haslam over this. Not likely. His last year of eligibility is 2026.He could always sit out a year. Not that it makes any sense to though
The chance is near-zero, but it is something he could do if he wanted. He’s already announced his return thoughNot likely. His last year of eligibility is 2026.

For 5 days and then off to Illinois as well?Tim retiring.
Good. It was necessary to compete for a NC. UM's Defense was good enough to get to the big games, but not good sufficient to bring home the hardware. Something had to change. I pointed out in a couple of different posts that every single NC winner going back for pretty much ever has run a 4 man front or a 4-2 hybrid.I think we're looking at a near entire staff rebuild on the defense
Not the way Bobby and the defensive coaches put it together.I'm not saying the 3-35 isn't a good defense, but it's not a NC winning defense.
Great, except that's what we've recruited for. They gonna cram square pegs into round holes in '26?Looking more and more like the 3-3-5 will be gone…hopefully
You realize that there are 5 months until fall camp…right?Great, except that's what we've recruited for. They gonna cram square pegs into round holes in '26?
