Who is next??

So we have a head coach that “retires” using carefully worded speech so late that a national search is in reality not possible, and UM loses out on thousands of dollars with the “retirement” vs resignation then he miraculously gets another job in days, then Assistants interview with his new school, others “retire” and a newly assigned head coach ( with no extended contract) has to try and get a defensive staff together despite candidates knowing he does not have an extended contract with spring practices about to start. Hope you are enjoying it all Bobby.
I've finally had it with what's happening with all the defectors. A picture of BH is officially going up on my dart board tonight!!!

Exactly, no idea why people are upset, worried, or criticizing Haslam over this. It was time for the Hauck’s to move on imo. We’re fine.
I think the challenge is to rebuild the defensive coaching staff with a head coach who is on a 1 year (chance to prove yourself) contract. While, I agree 100% that Montana is a great place to coach football, it doesn't feel like it's the most stable at the moment.

I think we're looking at a near entire staff rebuild on the defense
Good. It was necessary to compete for a NC. UM's Defense was good enough to get to the big games, but not good sufficient to bring home the hardware. Something had to change. I pointed out in a couple of different posts that every single NC winner going back for pretty much ever has run a 4 man front or a 4-2 hybrid.

I'm not saying the 3-35 isn't a good defense, but it's not a NC winning defense.
