Just so you know it doesn't only happen in the Big Sky. A few minutes ago, BYU won over San Diego in the WCC tournament, 85-79. During the game the refs called 51 fouls (according to ESPN, but I think they actually missed a few). At least they were "even handed" -- 25 called on USD, 26 on BYU.

Not even close. Refereeing is being talked about in the SEC and ACC, as well. The refs cannot keep up with the games.

The game was over by 8:45. It’s amazing how fouls can affect the time it takes to play a game.

Never thought I'd see it, but I did. Solid officiating in back to back games in Missoula this weekend. The game is so much better when officials don't call all the nit picky stuff.

Agree 100% Both games this weekend were fun to watch from start to finish. Thanks to the refs for letting the kids decide the outcome.
