Wow are you serious? OLD INVENTORY? Those shirts have been on sale for YEARS. What, did they order 4,000,000 shirts back in like '86 and figure they'd sell them all eventually? Get real. They STILL produce them every year.

Gold is still an official school color, dunce.
So far you've called me misinformed and a dunce. I guess that makes you ignorant because you are flat out wrong. Why don't you contact UM's office in charge of licensing to get the correct answer.

I won't hold my breath waiting for you to come back on here and admit you were wrong.
Gold and Yellow were unofficially allowed until approximately 1998. If anybody is still producing Griz gear in those colors then it is illegal. It is only a matter of time until they are caught and penalized, including the possibility of losing their license to produce Griz gear. I know for a fact these items get pulled all the time from retailers and vendors creating them get in trouble frequently. I can't explain why the bookstore is still selling a few old items, but I can guarantee you that if CLC and UM licensing was aware they would be pulled as well. Those are the facts. Sorry you have been misinformed.
