True, it is possible. I would guess Montana has a good shot at one or two also.
Ah...not so sure about that. The #3 team in the MVFC just made the championship game and beat the best the Big Fluffy could offer. Why? They are physical, run the ball well and play defense. Why did JMU make the championship game? Physical, run the ball and play defense. Why did NDSU win 5 in a row? I think you get the picture.
Montana has a coach who teaches his team a style of play that is soft. Teams like his fold time after time again. You guys had it with Hauck. Had he stayed or had you guys went with a coach teaching his system, there is no doubt you would have won championships. He knew what it took to win. You were a crazy physical team and ran the ball extremely well. Montana is filled with kids that fit that mold, but for some reason you guys prefer coaches who want to play a style of ball that has proven largely to be ineffective come playoff time and recruit players, to try to fit that style of play, who are soft.
Sorry just calling it how I see it. I'll be worried about Montana becoming a big time title contender again if they ever figure it out with a coach. Recruiting wise you have everything. Great college town. Great stadium. Soon to be great facilities. Great fan support. Only thing holding it back is pansy ass coaches who don't know how to get it done.
