When JJ is found Not Guilty, then what?

Where on Earth are all these perfect do gooders coming from all of the sudden?

The majority of us male or female, have taken advantage of someone, and/or were taken advantage of by the opposite sex at some point in our lives. More than than likely, most of us were in our teens or 20's when it happened too.

What sheltered world do you live in, or what are you on to escape reality? I sure in the hell could use some of what ever it is, where ever you are at.

I once went 5.78 hours being completely perfect. I started getting antsy and then broke a window, yelled at an old man crossing the street and then kicked a tnt. Couldn't take the pressure. Yep, almost six whole hours.....I just don't like to brag about it.

...or maybe I am speaking from experience. I have made as many dumb decisions as the next guy, maybe more, consequences tend to be the tough part of bad decisions. Let me repeat myself, I DON'T THINK HE IS GUILTY OF RAPE. I JUST THING HE MADE A HORRID DECISION AND IS PAYING FOR IT. Capice?

My guess, Bozeman, FlorioFans.com, or the StickWithPat party.

Gametime, I respectfully believe you are completely wrong about this whole situation. I've been saying since fall that JJ will be back once he's acquitted, and I still believe it. His teammates, coaches and (most) Griz fans have stuck with him throughout this affair. Honestly though, the latter category shouldn't matter. He is a Griz and he will be back fighting alongside his teammates this fall. And I absolutely believe that is precisely what this community needs to heal from this mess (that, and the completion of the NCAA, doj and doe investigations). This community needs to rally around its team and JJ - young men that we can and should be proud of. Instead, you want to castigate him after doing nothing more than being a college kid. I, and the vast majority of Missoulians and Griz fans, would welcome him back with open arms after the ordeal he's been through. And if for some reason he does decide to move on, I wish home nothing but the best and thank him for everything he gave the University and its fans!

Go Griz!!!

Despite my above statement, I believe you are correct. I am just pissed tonight that 2 dumb young college kids decision to have sex has created such a mess for the places (Montana, Missoula and UM) that many of us care for so much. All the great players who never got in trouble and are great kids suffer as much as anyone. This is a monumental black eye for UM and I just want it to go away....immediately.

Chances are it could have been any of them that had charges like this come from a one night stand too. They happen often in your late teens to mid 20's. JJ just happened to mess with the wrong girl at the wrong time. I am sure this has opened many male eyes to being careful in who they have sex with, or better yet to have a healthy relationship with someone, and stay away from the questionable girls.

I agree with you. Wrong girl wrong time. Hard lesson for a 20 year old to learn. Not to sound too old, but 20 year old males today, have a whole other animal to deal with in 20 year old girls, than many of us did in the past. Independent, promiscuous, etc. Times have changed.

If she is found to be lying, I think people need to really start looking at the detective, the nurse and any other faculty that used this girl to further the anti-sport, anti-male agenda. They could give a shit that they may may have also ruined this girl's life, let alone JJ's. The amount of shit that has gone on from personal cell phones and texting hooray's on the day of the firings is fucking unreal...from gas bags that are supposed to be professionals.

The girl may be a victim, just from another type of user and abuser than some may have originally thought.

Game time, I do agree with you now. It is just so damn frustrating/saddening to see the effects that one quickie between two college students has caused in our community and alma mater. I too hope this black cloud passes soon, but I firmly believe that it is important for JJ to return to the Griz with his head held high and with the support of his team, university and community in order for this to heal the right way.

And I also hope that this young woman and her family can recover from this someday as well. There are no winners in this and I hope the healing starts for all involved very soon.

Confirming one of my points, this is far from over even after the verdict, whatever it may be.
