What to expect this year

No I wasn’t thanking my mom for passing. When I said thanks I was only being polite to you. Oh And I promised another guy that i would relinquish this hi jacked thread back to it original posters. Thanks

It figures. You promised another guy...that hi jacked...back.

And...you made disparaging comments about beaver! Geezzzusss...are there that many sheep in beaver (lack of) head) county now? You sick...

I used guide on the beaverhead, Jefferson, ruby and big hole in college during the spring and summer. Had a blast. I went to grade school in Whitehall but I guess I was too young to learn the local geography/pornography. Lol good stuff

When you come down and/or sober up, go to the MSU site. There are many over there who share your boy crush with Andersen.

Oh no I’m married man, I don’t have a crush on him, I just know his people and am from southwest Montana and I like to see Montana kids valued and not over looked because they play at smaller schools. I tried to give this thread back. Ok nite thanks

I call bullshit then! You are going to try to tell all of us you never went hunting up Bloody Dick Creek up Kitty Creek? You lying sack of feces.

We referred to the BD as the Blood Richard when our children were young. Best place in Mt to catch brookies.

Oh, I expect to see a more physical griz offense and a slightly better defense.

I looked up bloody dick and the Montana place names claimed it was named after an englishman with the first name Richard who had a cabin on the creek after the civil war. And Bloody was an an expletive that the English used at the time, don’t hear that much anymore unless you are in the UK or Australia. So it morphed into calling Richard that Bloody Dick. When I first heard that in high school I thought my hunting buddy’s were making the name up. Never really liked the name or even to think it. Used to guide on the big hole but always stayed far away from the bloody dick.

Based on this thread, it seems the expectation for 2018 is the same record as 2017, but drop a game somewhere else and beat the cats, and make the playoffs.

Totally off message and maybe off putting to some but I’m interested to understand why the f**k did the fellas down at the land grant college decide to move Troy Anderson to lb permenantly this season that’s what I have heard from my friends in Dillon. The kid was recruited to play safety or lb and then after a week into fall camp last year they converted him to running back, he played qb and safety in high school, and he ends up being the first true freshman to start there at rb since 1990, started their first game against NDSU, scores 2 tds against the Griz, is the teams 3rd leading rusher, is BSC freshman of the year and as a true freshman he was the fastest guy on the team and he’s 6-3 and 225. The kid is a specimen and an incredible natural athlete. I followed him in HS and saw him play in the state A basketball tournament last year where he lead the beave to the state chipper after also leading them to the state A chipper in football. He had a monster two handed slam in traffic in the 4th qtr of the semi final game against butte central, which you never see in a HS state tournament game because the level of competition is pretty even and guys are dragging in the 4th qrts of games. I also think he ran the fastest time in the 100m for all classes, 10.77, as a senior. He’s a once in generation athlete. He should have been the GPOY. Dick was a great high school player but he played for a AA school, and only played offense, and was redshirted and now is playing for Rocky, whereas Anderson was BSC freshman of the year after getting converted to rb in fall camp. Wow. Why would you play your fastest most athletic guy on your team at one of your 4 linebacker positions rather then making him your feature back. He s got size, speed is durable and can also catch passes why would you make him only one of your 4 linebackers? Are they high? I think it will bode will for the Griz, why didn’t they redshirt him and then start him for 4 seasons at one position to get every drop out of his incredible athletic talent. Anybody from down their want to weigh in on this, you obviously have way more insight then I have. Anyone, anyone, Bueler? Thanks

Troy is a great athlete and I expected him to have a big impact last year and expect more going forward. He is extremely fast but did not run the fastest 100m his senior year. Close but not quite. Damien Nelson ran the fastest time at 10.71.

The "pound and ground" came late in the game when the Griz had the lead. Then the horse/hoss, whoever it was, was packing the mail every play!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go Griz!
