you can be bobcat born but then you stop drooling, get an education, learn the earth is not round, and become a GRIZ

Ther's one on Montana Avenue just west of downton in Billings. Face it guys there are a lot of people that are bobcats until they learn to read.

There was a huge Griz billboard just outside Bozeman near the exit with Home Depot and that crap last season. Nothing shocking here.

The circumference of the earth at the equator is 24,901.55 miles (40,075.16 kilometers).
But, if you measure the earth through the poles the circumference is a bit shorter - 24,859.82 miles (40,008 km). This the earth is a tad wider than it is tall, giving it a slight bulge at the equator. This shape is known as an ellipsoid or more properly, geoid (earth-like).

You're welcome. Class dismissed. :D

Actually if you shrunk the earth to the size of a billiard ball, it would be smoother than a billiard ball which means it is actually (on some scale) rather smooth. That said, I don't live on a billiard ball - never have - and I have to agree that at full scale it doesn't seem round at all. However, if you stand in Polson and look toward Kalispell and could possibly see to the other end clearly you would note that an object 120 feet high on the north shore would be right on the horizon and so we know the earth is not flat. It is at the very least kinda "roundy".

Does saying the earth is shaped like a basketball get the discussion back on topic? OOPS, this is a football forum. Forgot where I was for a moment. Sorry.

Folks, we may have just discovered why the Cats have so many losing seasons. They are concentrating on playing with a round ball instead of a football. That explains a lot when you think about it. (a team is way more prone to throw interceptions if the ball is round, you could have a tough time kicking field goals with a round ball, you would probably fumble more, etc). Hell, someone run over to Bozo and give those poor kids a football. This is simply embarrassing. :)

No, no. No offense intended. I was actually enjoying the course. Auditing it Pass/Fail. :thumb:

That chubby chick would freight train u flat on your ass if u tried tackling him.

Like he did for all... what... 45 yards against the Griz? 8-)

It's that the same thing as Turdmaine shutting down Elvis, but didn't he have 6 catch's for 100 + yrds. Besides Kirk only touched the ball 11 times.
