To Kirk and McGhee's credit though, I didn't watch the UC Davis and Minot gamesBWahlberg said:gocats said:That chubby chick would freight train u flat on your ass if u tried tackling him.

evidently you must have learned that the earth isn't round also :thumb:
The circumference of the earth at the equator is 24,901.55 miles (40,075.16 kilometers).
But, if you measure the earth through the poles the circumference is a bit shorter - 24,859.82 miles (40,008 km). This the earth is a tad wider than it is tall, giving it a slight bulge at the equator. This shape is known as an ellipsoid or more properly, geoid (earth-like).

You're welcome. Class dismissed.![]()
Actually if you shrunk the earth to the size of a billiard ball, it would be smoother than a billiard ball which means it is actually (on some scale) rather smooth. That said, I don't live on a billiard ball - never have - and I have to agree that at full scale it doesn't seem round at all. However, if you stand in Polson and look toward Kalispell and could possibly see to the other end clearly you would note that an object 120 feet high on the north shore would be right on the horizon and so we know the earth is not flat. It is at the very least kinda "roundy".getgrizzy said:AZGrizFan said:Cats2506 said:Pater_Ursus_Arctos said:Excellent work 2506! Anytime you want to bump the kitties up to CRAP is fine by us.

pfft. you can just look out your window and see it's not round. what with the mountains and valleys and all. the earth is lumpy.
Does saying the earth is shaped like a basketball get the discussion back on topic? OOPS, this is a football forum. Forgot where I was for a moment. Sorry.EverettGriz said:I went to a sports message board and a geography courese broke out....
