If EWU loses, and they split the Big Sky with NAU how does that affect us?

I still see Montana getting love and getting a better bid than NAU, but only if ewu beats psu today..

Man I don't know... I would like to think that we would benefit from an EWU loss. I wonder, has there ever been a playoff team who didn't win their conference, yet was seeded higher than the conference auto-bid team?

If the number 3 and number 4 team lose today, it could help us. I know the seedings aren't based on TSN's rankings, but I think they have a certain amount of influence.

I'm going to bump this, i don't really know much about playoff selection and how they pick certain teams over other teams.

Anyone who knows a bit about the selection process should post your opinion... I need the education.....

Nobody knows how much they are going to go by the new system they are trying out and how much they are going to use the old system...it sounds like a blend of both this year.

I think the general consensus is we're going to be seeded 5-7...tomorrow will tell.

Gotcha, Were in, which is what is important. I was just curious about EWU/NAU either splitting or outright winning the big sky, and how that could affect our seeding. It doesn't matter now seeing as we have a outright big sky champ.
