What defense will we run this season?

Need to get the visionary minds on record about what defense we will run this coming season. I cant wait to laugh at you boomers that are old and worthless.

Its gonna be funny to a lot of us in the know.

I do in fact know, and shared, and people here still don't like to listen unfortunately. Just wanted to stop all of you from having to argue on every single thread. I even know who is playing where but I can't share that part. Oh well.

Okay, give us the defenses that will be used in the first quarter of the first game.

This is a pretty ridiculous thing to say. I told you guys it's a 4-2-5 base with a Buck hybrid DE LB body type that can rush and drop like an Abdul Carter type, and a traditional DE other side. There will be some 4-3 and 3-4 in the book but it's a primarily 4-2-5.

But everyone here knows better than the people talking to the coaches because their kid is recruited into the scheme.

Thanks for sharing! I can't wait to see how the defense is called and executed this fall.

Yep, I got you on record, you get it. Nobody will be laughing at you this fall. The DL is gonna eat this season but our offense has been unleashed and will bring the NC back where it belongs.

When speaking about defensive schemes and coverages, once you get past "deep as the deepest and wide as the widest" you have surpassed all the 'technical' knowledge that hoops has. Expect more ridiculous questions and rants.

There are less than 5 people on here tha understand even rudimentary defensive concepts, its like nobody really played the game they just take things they leared from Madden, or use words like "physicality" to make them seem knowlegable. The people that know, know who these frauds are

No, what actual defenses will be called and run at the start of the first game and as the first quarter goes on. Some of us have listened to the coaches talk about the defensive schemes, essentially as you and other have laid out. That's a bunch of formations. I want to know what the coaches are going to focus on. I've had a half dozen defensive players do stuff for me this summer. I've talked to them.

There are a lot more people on egriz who understand defenses. Some have been or are coaches. You clearly don't understand defenses. Yes, most posters know you are a fraud.

I read this in the Journal today, and it reminded me of people like you. A piece by Scott Atlas, who became a professor and chief of neuroradiology at Stanford, and eventually a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution. Are you good at taking selfies? You couldn't and wouldn't have made it anywhere in my generation. Too soft. Too weak. Too whiny. Hide behind a keyboard. There are a number like you on egriiz. The likes of posters like Soldier can see right through you. He's smart, honest and tough.

"My generation—the baby boomers—made a catastrophic mistake. We watched our parents sacrifice, we struggled to move up, and we vowed our children would have it easier. When that time came, we gave them trophies for showing up. We meant well. But in freeing them of the need to struggle, we deprived them of something essential. We raised a generation insulated from failure, from consequence, from the experience of working for something, failing and trying again.

The hallmark of today’s young generation is the selfie. A photo of yourself, taken and posted for the approval of others. That says everything. And when the world doesn’t deliver the validation young people have been told they deserve simply for existing, the explanation is always the same: The system is rigged, the deck is stacked, someone else has too much."

I repeat again "Win with class, Lose with class, Dont' be an ass." I believe you were a very talented athlete that failed to learn the most important life lessons of sports and team. I apologize we were not successful in teaching you that part which is as important as the X's and O's and probably more so that we taught you. How you present your knowledge here is the worse side of sports. (Hoops also)

That's......a bunch of formations? You mean, a defensive scheme..?
You want to know if they are going to run quarters, 2 high, 3, run a safety blitz, stunt, bullet blitz with a fire coverage from the buck?

Do you believe that Sanders and the staff know what specific plays they are running in the first quarter of game 1? Because if that were the case the whole staff would need to just be fired right now.

Im going to go ahead and check out of this convo and go back to being a lurker on the board. Besides being a ridiculous ask, these threads shed a bad light on a great fanbase.

Another problem created by Boomers. It's time for your generation to move to the side so the rest of us can clean up your messes.
