I think 2 championship appearances may have been a little bit of a stretch.

No doubt Pflu was a great coach, and we likely would have done better in the last 2.5 seasons with him, but I doubt we would've beat NDSU the last two years (or even SHSU).

I miss Pflu as much as anyone, but let's not get crazy.
