I think the German side of the family uses Vents. The other side uses Wents. All in all, strong family. Real strong.

Which is why it's even more amazing that Ventz found his way north for college. Most SoDaks go south if they go out of state.

Yep, they'd rather play in the warmer climates of a Nebraska or Iowa; even Minnesota if you're using 'tips map!

Most fats, but not all fats, live there. Some live in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Hell, some probably even live in the good states. Ventz made the right choice by becoming a Sioux. I don't think he would have made it as a Golden Gopher.
 
Little known historical fact about the Donner Party is that there were 2 people from Fargo on that trip. It's the main reason why the other 183 people lived though the winter.

Good point. I could never figure out why he went to a school that had no mascot. I mean, no current mascot, except for hockey. Did you see all those people from Fargo at the "Frozen Four" with their "Sioux" shirts (size XXXL) and banners? Those poor folks have lost their identity! No wonder they eat!
