Apples and oranges. One program has some fringe people that might do stupid things in isolated incidents. The other has institutionalized classlessness.

Ive seen banners hanging in MSU public buildings saying FTG. Real classy. Bars in Bozeman hanging signs and putting ads in our local paper rooting for other teams opposing UM... again real classy.

I remember a few years ago in Bozeman fans getting angry over referees calls , so much they refs had to be escorted out after the game and were spit on, accosted and had their car vandalized. Again real classy.

Funny thing is I have no memory of anything like this happening at UM. There will be a few idiots but nothing as officially sanctioned as MSUs inferiority complex.

There are many intelligent guys/gals at MSU due to some of the degrees offered. However that isn't translating into real decent human behavior or sportsmanship as is PROVEN in your fanbases actions.

So MSU fans are intelligent assholes. Congratulations I suppose...

I forgot about this. Unfortunately, there are so many examples. I wish MSU's fanbase could all be like the good ones, and there are good cat fans, but so may of them just don't feel comfortable being lil' bro. It's not a death sentence, you still get to field a team and play football. I don't see the same kind of inferiority complex among Wazzu fans, Oregon State fans, etc. I think it's because those fanbases kind of know where they stand when compared to the flagship. MSU's fanbase needs to embrace the role of lil' bro.

It's all crazy talk. I'm not tryin to talk shit here but the cats are not very impressive. I've never been impressed with a single cat game. I will say the Elvis Akpla catch in 2011 was impressive but the score showed a not so impressive game. Along with any other recent playoff game. I'm not tryin to hurt any feelings. And go ahead, fire away, the Griz were less than great last year. The 2013 Griz is gonna be a pretty tight ship.

Basically the Griz fans turned into Yankee fans and the Cats turned into Eagles (Philly) fans.
