Been nothing short of spectacular.
Comparison brings up sad memories ... not at all because of talent, charisma, etc. IMO, Marc never really got a fair chance in the NFL to show what he could do as a receiver. Then, when they "de-emphasized" his kick-off "specialty," you could see the end.G&B said:The kid is great, but he is no Marc Mariani. JLM is a Griz great not a legend like the kid from the high line. MM in the SDSU game is something beyond special ! I hope JLM kills it this year. Keep the TDS rolling.

If you outkick your coverage on JLM, you're screwed.
Littlest guy on the field, heart of a champion. Hope he gets one his senior season--he deserves it (championship, that is).
Don't doubt JLM too early for NFL. A guy from down south who I talked with about Mariani being NFL caliber basically laughed off the idea saying he was just too small and not athletic enough to even be considered for the NFL ... Boy did Marc prove him wrongIdaGriz01 said:Comparison brings up sad memories ... not at all because of talent, charisma, etc. IMO, Marc never really got a fair chance in the NFL to show what he could do as a receiver. I doubt that JLM will even get a sniff at the NFL. For all his talent, he's just too small. I can see the CFL in his future, however (assuming he wants to go that route).
MM was from the Hi-Line, not the "high line", and yes he was spectacular in the South Dakota State playoff game.timjayko said:Don't doubt JLM too early for NFL.
