Actually, the Poly defender put his helmet on the ball and knocked it out of BG's hand.

Looked to me like it slipped out before the defender got there. I'll have to go back and look again.

I thought that at first also, but they showed another view that showed the defender put his helmet on the ball.

Doesn't matter. Needs to feel the pressure and protect the ball.

Nguyen ran into the back of a lineman so hard he bounced off and fell down....does he run with eyes closed? The run game is a joke.
 
The Gus fumble was not his fault. That's on the OL, and other than the pick Gus is playing as good as I've seen FWIW
