This is going to affect season tickets at some point. With the exception of a few very rose colored fans people are not happy and will spend their money elsewhere.

Chalich 24 for 76 carries. 3.2 per carry.

NC 47 plays for 241; UM 94 plays for 400.

UM 9 for 22 on 3d down conversions.

Too many mistakes. Didn't make plays when we needed to. Receivers back to not getting the tough balls. D couldn't stop last drive. O coulddn't make comeback drive.

Dissappointing. Missed BG, in my view.

Why did we not throw down field? Was UNCs secondary that strong?

November, but they played to keep everything in front of them. Pretty smart. Make us earn it, and we didn't. I really thought with 3 and a half minutes left and them in prevent, the run was there for 8 to 15 yards and pop. Not sure Chalich has the field presence to check out of the play like Brady does. Disappointing game, especially since we controlled TOP and yardage, but the right plays at the right time will kill you.

I don't see it as a talent issue. Montana has much better talent than UNC. We were simply out played. Special teams was the difference. Chalich did not play well. He didn't seem to be very well prepared.

We are going backwards. A good team can step up and make plays. If seems other teams all know how to play our Offense. Then when we help them out by playing crappy, well what can I say.

Your first issue is thinking this was a good team.

I think we can say this is the game kicking lost for us. Now i know there were other things, but kicking forced the hand a little. Blocked punt td, pat and fg misses cost the game.
Am any of said the kicking game would cost a game this year. Not only cost us the game but also the playoffs.

Wow. Embarrassing. Wonder what the excuses are for this game. Looks like Griz-Cat game will be the playoff game. As bad as we played unsportsmanlike on the last play was dumb. We would of atleast had a couple of shots down the field for a touchdown if not for that. I hope we can beat state atleast.

Well bob has one more year and he isn't even close. This team went backwards from last year in every phase of the game. I have no idea why people think next year will be any better. I found it funny that Stitt told the announcer that his receivers as a unit are better than last years  Gotta think his analysis of players is a bit off.

Yeah and if Stitt thinks that this years receiving core is even better than last year then how come he doesn't draw up and call very many pass plays that go down the field to those said WR's? LIke TODAY even... instead of just the damn screen passes!!! Even the commentators for Northern Colorodo commented on how we use just one formation pretty much all game long. Why do that? We aren't High School level Stitt, maybe you can take your single formation Offense to a high school team, and let's find a coach who hires an OC that gives us an offensive playbook to win in the Big Sky and maybe even beyond!

I'm wondering the same thing... after Chalich lit up the scoreboard last game by throwing down the field going into this game against one of the weakest secondary in the Big Sky statistically it looks like Stitt's gameplan was instead to try and pound with the run, slow down the clock, throw screen passes and short check downs all game hoping to win the Time of Possession battle...

Instead of go right into ground and pound and ToP battle, I would have tried to throw the ball down the field at least at the beginning of the game... and go from there

By not throwing the ball down the field Montana's offense pretty much set up Northern Colorodo's defense to fill up the box all game to stop the run and short passes... way to go Stitt Offense! So exciting to watch all those screen passes all day :thumb:
So he could get sacked a few more times or have more of his passes dropped? Don't know if you noticed but the GRIZ ran the ball pretty damn good today.

I think the only hope for this head coach is to throw away the play card he has all the time and start being a head coach. By doing that he can spend his time managing the game from defense, special teams, and all other parts of a football game. Worst prepared team I have seen at Montana since Larry Donavan. Go Griz

Dropped TD pass by Bingham, Curren overthrown in the end zone, missed extra point, missed 23 yd field goal multiple dropped passed to Curren. Why have him in there when he can't catch? Stitt that pissed about Homan fumbling to keep him out of the game??? Stupid penalty by Kidder....pressure mounting on Stitt for sure. Now 0-4 on the road in conference this year.....ouch

Seriously, can anyone tell me what Kidder did to warrant that penalty?

Don't blame kids or talent, coaching is problem.
Yup the players aren't fully to blame when they are put in the wrong position and formation on so many plays both sides of the ball. At the end of the day yes the players miss the tackles, turn the ball over, mess up on their assignments, but this game didn't feel like that at all. It felt like we were not only outplayed, but we were outcoached yet again..
