Actually, SDSU dropped only five spots after their first loss ... at home to highly ranked Southern Illinois in OT. Then they beat up on Western Illinois, on the road, to move up one spot. This time, they lost at home to a lower ranked team, so I think they'll drop more ... but not a huge amount.goatcreekgriz said:Don’t want to derail this, but Sac State’s only two losses were to UNI and Cal. It reminds me that UM’s loss to Sac State was not necessarily a harbinger of doom.Wolf777 said:... As for SDSU, didn’t they drop about 10 spots the last time they lost? This was to a ranked team, but UNI barely cracked the rankings, and almost fell out of the poll after a bad loss the week before.
I will be anxious to see. I didn’t think there was any way we would have come in at #11 last week, but we did.![]()
As for Sac State, they are now tied (well, a half game back) for the lead in the Big Sky. Since the four teams just ahead of them all lost, they're going to move up a bunch. (Working on my guesses right now.)
