Couldn't have happened to a nicer team on a nicer field. However, If that game could have gone to perpetual overtimes for eternity with both losing, or the BSC refs just calling it a tie because they don't know the rule book, I would have been even happier.

In other upset news, Northern Iowa beat South Dakota State, so barring any crazy changes from the pollsters we should eek back into the top ten (deserved or not).

SDSU lost to a ranked team (and it's Northern Iowa). I don't think they'll drop enough to open a slot for the Griz in the top-10.

I look forward to it as always. I do agree the iggles will only drop a few spots. It was slightly flukey, but it did take a serious comeback in the fourth to get to that point if even missing the PAT. I could see them coming in at 5 or 6.

As for SDSU, didn’t they drop about 10 spots the last time they lost? This was to a ranked team, but UNI barely cracked the rankings, and almost fell out of the poll after a bad loss the week before.

I will be anxious to see. I didn’t think there was any way we would have come in at #11 last week, but we did.

Don’t want to derail this, but Sac State’s only two losses were to UNI and Cal. It reminds me that UM’s loss to Sac State was not necessarily a harbinger of doom.
