Good god Weber’s good

Weber does not have an explosive offense. Constantine is just a simplistic game manager. But their defense is ridiculously good, and caused Sac State to look inefficient ( no lucky catches and five-yard gain fumbles). Weber defense is so good that the Griz might get shut out. I love the Griz, but Weber is scary good.

Oh good lord. You realize they struggled to beat Idaho, right?

I wouldn't say struggled....the score was 41-28 with 130 left in the game and Idaho ran the ensuing kick back for td making the final look closer than the game was

It was 34-28 with 3:20 left in the game. A failed onside kick attempt by Idaho have Weber a short field for their final score with 1:24 left. Then Idaho returns a 97 yard kick return for their final score of the game. A second failed onside kick attempt allowed Weber to kneel it out for the win.

Idaho was definitely in the game with 90 seconds left. Weber’s vaunted defense gave 28 points to Petrino Jr. and special teams gave up another 7. Weber did just enough to win that game. I think the score was pretty indicative of the game. It’s not like the Weber scrubs gave up a final score in junk time as you are implying.

No doubt weber is a very good team. They have good line play and execute at a high level but to even think they will shut us out is laughable. They haven’t shut out anyone to date and they won’t next week against und and won’t the following week at Montana. I would wager to bet getting by idaho next week will motive these Grizzlies to the nth degree. This is a very good Montana team that is well coached and have a bad taste in their mouths with what happened at sac state. They’ll know what’s at stake and we will see one hell of a battle for what could be the conference championship.

Go Griz!

I agree. Definitely won’t shut out UND. They are physical up front.

Weber held a two score lead through most of the game. Had you watched it you would have seen what I saw, a game Weber was never really in danger of losing. Also i never implied that Weber's "scrubs" allowed a late TD you, you came to that conclusion all on your own. Weber defense allowed 28 points to Idaho's offense...Idaho allowed the 12 ranked Big Sky offense 41 points. Weber also gave up 28 to NAU....but scored 51 I guess we struggled with them too.

Yet we gave up 17 to a team that scored 49 on you. And Sac who everyone touted as being one of the best defensive teams just allowed Weber to run all over them. And beat them by 19 on their own field. Sac has been averaging 40 plus against FCS teams. Then they played Weber. And barely managed 17.

Every team has a bad game or two. Luckily Our offense who everyone says is bad and boring managed to help out our D when they needed it. Which hasnt been often.

In conclusion sac state had a bad game, Montana had a bad game and in two weeks weber is about to have a bad game... 8-)

That's the Big Sky for your this season. Wouldn't surprise me at all. I admit though, I am really impressed with Weber State though.
