Way Too Early 2019 2-Deep

I expect Anderson, Sain & Ganoung to make some serious noise for significant playing time on the OL in ‘19. These guys were VERY highly touted recruits...

I’d LOVE to see Bobby move Longoria back to DL to take Shaw’s spot, along with Alford.

I’ve always said I’d love to see Graves at safety, especially with Jancaro and Turner already waiting in the wings at RB and QB seemingly set for the next couple...but not sure he’s fast enough (might be, I know nothing about his speed).

Assuming Vika went back to LB? That should help with some depth there...

Graves is a waste on offense. I will continue to say that until proven otherwise. The kid is literally the next Josh Buss at LB. QB is about his 4th best position. But I cheer for a team with Troy Andersen at QB who I have the same opinion of so who knows.

It wouldn’t surprise me to see what you suggest come to fruition, but it may have to be stipulated over the winter. The number of guys who moved to different spots this season was significant & I can’t believe that’s not on the table go forward - particularly where injuries come into play.

The question is: does he know it's his 4th best position? if so, does he WANT to play QB? if he does, and it happens to not be in the cards for the Griz, he will transfer to the Frontier. No shame in that at all, especially if he's really wanting to play QB. What if he tears it up in the spring at QB? then, who cares and he's next in line.

The more I think about it, I bet he tries QB at least one more year. He was named the scout team player of the year at QB....I agree he is a good enough athlete that defense maybe should be strongly considered, but if he really wants to play QB, I'm guessing he'll get his chance. Hope he turns out to be J.Edwards 2.0.

I believe the last guy who was named offensive scout team POY subsequently left the team. :o
