Was the targeting of Johnson intentional?

Did 46 intend to hit Johnson in the head with his (46's) head? Obviously, he did. Johnson didn't move or duck or get knocked partially down. I wish nothing but bad luck to 46. Dirty play and dirty player.

Might have to change your tune if he comes here. Bobby is recruiting him.

Well, not really. For me, at least. When he played for SAC, he was a dirty player. If he becomes a Griz, he's just a high motor guy who plays hard until the whistle. Easy to reconcile. First day here?

There are always plays that can ruin a season, but there is a lot of football left before I'm convinced this season is ruined.

What it DID do was make any path to Frisco much, much more difficult. A 10-1 Griz team with 3 home games is a whole different animal than an 8-3 Griz team that has to go on the road multiple times….and that’s true for ANY team, of course, but it was kind of the expectation going into the season and with Johnson healthy I’ve seen nothing that would change that mindset….

We would have to get used to having a hoodlum on the team. There is little question that his hit on Johnson was intentional.

Clearly Bobby doesn’t think it was intentional either. Highly doubt any coach would recruit a player he believed intentionally tried to hurt one of his. That just wouldn’t go over in the locker room.

He's arguably the best RB in FCS, any team would be insane not to try to get him.

He's absolutely going FBS, though.

All of you Griz guys ESPECIALLY HOOPS who have been blaming the demise of your entire season on the SAC linebacker now have to deal with the fact that Bobby is recruiting him and has offered him a scholarship! To tell you the truth the SAC program is not going to miss him due to that fact that he is undisciplined, difficult to coach and not a "team" guy. As much as many of you claim the Cats will do anything to win makes this even more special. I can hardly wait to see how that old babbling Hoops tries to defend his boy Bobby on this one!
