Vs. Southern Utah tonight

Question: They have kept the SUU broadcast going for post game stats and coach's interview. Why don't we do that? Is it a Learfield thing or a KGVO thing?

Let me say it first...I'll take that ugly win.

Don't get me started on the refs.

These were very good refs. Two games in a row and we see basketball and not a free throw contest! Other games are also being officiated like this which is a great step up for Big Sky teams. UM did not really play a good game and let SUU have an opportunity to win with a last second clutch. They missed, UM won. Northern Colorado, at this initial stage, seems to be the team to beat.If Samuelson can have more games like this, the Griz are going to be tough.

Definitely preferable to having 20 fouls called in the first 10 minutes. They probably thought a few in the lane on us weren't called late.

Wow, good gritty road win against a team who is supposed to be a conference contender and was a 6 point favorite.

Couple things....Samuelson playing out of his mind and making this Griz team so much better. Manuel was clutch tonight and without him the Griz don’t win....except his issues with less than 30 secs almost cost the game. He traveled to turn it over when only up 4, missed the front end of 1 and 1 when up 2, then missed front end of 1 and 1 again when only up 2. It was so hard to watch us try to give that game away.

A good win nontheless

Play of the night may have been Timmy with the jump ball in the key to give us the possession! Great heady Defense on Timmys part

It was Senior night in Cedar City, they really got it done. Showing the Yute what it takes to win on the road. And any road win this year is a good win IMHO. SUU has a couple of really good players.

A win on the road when you shoot just 41%? I’ll take it.

And suu is claiming they drew just under 2100.... mmmmmokay.

Hey, the NAIA All-American has shown up! What a difference a low post presence makes...Samuelson and Selcuk give us dimensions this team lacked pre-conference...We now have a ten-man rotation including Egun--if DeCuire chooses to use it. But what's up with Egun? ... No matter our top three offensive threats are all seniors. We'll deal with that next year...But what happened to their stud big man, Dwayne Morgan? He did not play last night. Arguably the best big man in the conference...Great teams are great late. We were not against Omaha, when we should have fouled late to prevent that late three-point heave that sent the game to O/T, and we were pathetic last night down the stretch. Turnovers, missed free throws--you don't win championships that way...As they say in the coaching ranks, "We gotta clean that up."

Here's two minutes of highlights from Montana's win at SUU. All the offense is fun to watch, but the final play of the game was defensive... a gem from Timmy Falls. Go Griz

Great compilation of highlights on Jared Samuelson's 21-point outing against SUU. Looks like at least one of those treys was from about 25 ft.

Pluto TV worked perfect! Didn't miss a play the entire game. Billings, MONTANA kids again the key to the game.

Kind of cool........may be years before we say that again about two Montana kids playing a big role a season.
