33% from three is the same statistically as 50% from 2. 33% is not great for a 3-point specialist like Manuel, who is getting his minutes because of his offense, but it's not bad for a defensive specialist like Bobby. Last year the only player with more 3 point attempts than Bobby was Rorie, and last year Rorie shot 34% for the year while Bobby shot 35%. Opposing teams have to respect Bobby's shot, which prevents them from doubling down on the post. Unless he's hot in a game I don't think he should be shooting any more than he currently does, but he shouldn't be shooting less.

If only last year's Bobby was here. Manuel is shooting 40%, Moorehead 28%. I don't want him off the floor, I just would prefer he NOT shoot 3's. He's costing us possessions.

If I had a vote for Defensive Player of the Year in the Big Sky at this point in the season, it's Bobby Moorehead. And it's not even close. He's the best perimeter defender in the league. He erased Jerrick Harding and Tyler Hall, didn't even let them tough the ball for giant stretches of two crucial wins for the Griz.
