I was blown away by how good this guy is for a freshman QB. As long as he's healthy Padron will probably never see another snap.

Part of me wonders how much his passing game is aided by probably the best WR corps in the Big Sky, however the realization that we've got another 3 years playing this guy is unsettling. Dude can ball - one of the most impressive freshman QBs I've seen in this league that I can recall.

You guys have the worst luck, it seems like every week you face the breakout game of the next all-world player

BTW, Adams is good, just been looking for a place to use that line

I was really impressed by him as well. He looks to be the next great EWU quarterback.

The juke he put on tripp in the 4th quarter was redic.

Sure was - he had a few other real shifty moves too, incredibly tough to tackle.

I agree that was extraordinary play from a freshman QB. Don't wonder about the rest though. His receivers are excellent. In fact, if Adams were consistent he would have thrown for 700 yards yesterday. The kid had some great throws but he missed several wide open big plays.

Bottom line, EWU's receivers, and inept play by our secondary, helped the kid look great. :ugeek:

He certainly played well and will be a major fixture in the BSC if he continues to perform at that level. Based on the tears rolling down his face after the game, that must have been the biggest game of his life.
