Vernon Adams Back?

It's hard to believe a senior, who is supposedly that close to getting a bachelors degree, in ANYTHING, could be that stupid. Says lots about EWU. EWUs Forrest Gump? Is this REALLY his third time taking the test?

stupid is as stupid does...

Mama always said that "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get -- even the third time you take the same test."

EWU isn't going to take him back if he fails. If they do take a player back who cannot graduate, that speaks volumes on the priority they have on academics for their student athletes.

Hopefully, he does pass and gets an opportunity at OU. He is a talent who can play at that level.

Baldwin is already on record multiple times stating that under no circumstance would VA be playing football at EWU this season

Well, I agree there's no way they take him back. And far be it from me to support ewoo's academic record. But recall that Shoota is still a 4th year guy, and would have another year to graduate.

I bet they would.....but he would have to play center.

You're probably right. I think he might do well at that position. The kid has DI talent, after all.

While he has to take his own test(s), and is monitored, I wonder If he's has help taking his tests in his other 120 or so semester credit hours. Vernon could be a scab over an otherwise huge ulcer at EWU.

Dude, for real? How could Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Washington ever field a decent FB team unless they are getting "special help" with coursework?

Think you are in the minority with that implication...

Cut the girl some slack. Five to seven days each month, when grizd reads something it's passed through ovary filters before it reaches the brain. As a result, she doesn't get the joke and is easily offended. Insult is inferred where none is implied. And if I want to insult something or someone, it's not likely to be very subtle. In the meantime, I better eat a Snickers bar.

Depends, I'd guess a degree at Montana Tech would be considered far superior to most at ewoo

Yeah, because the post was calling NAIA stupid and not EWU small time...

Somebody said he's going to Oregon.

Well, I hadn't heard that. That would be quite the development, if true, since EWU plays them in week 1!

Maybe EWU is screwing him over and giving him impossible math questions so he won't be able to play against them?

Yeah that's probably it.

You guys are way too hard on Shoota. He scanned the syllabus a little too quickly, saw a course entitled, "Intro to Meth", and figured that in Cheney, that was an easy A. Can't really blame the guy. I get my a's and e's mixed up all the time.

Haha! Like anyone associated with EWU could craft a difficult math problem.
