Once the renovation is done the seating will eclipse 9,000.

So they’re removing seats? NAU did this also. I don’t get it.

The west side was temporary seating with a basketball court and volleyball court on the back side and up above. Now there will be permanent seating both sides with a new locker room below. In addition there will be 10 luxury suites and 16 loge boxes right on top of the field. No one has that anywhere. It’s going to be very very nice. Not huge but nice.

As I said in my first reply, you have a great facility. One can have the age old argument about playing football in cold and wind and occasional snow vs. 72 degrees year round. My wife votes 72 degrees all day long.

I'd be keen to go see this game and your stadium. I've never seen a place with luxury boxes right on the field, not sure how that would work but it would sure liven up the game experience for both players and fans. lol On a side note, my cousin played four years of varsity soccer for the Yotes and loved her time in Vermillion. Good luck with your season, except for one game.

Likewise. I would really like to see home and homes with Big Sky kingpins on an annual basis. Two great leagues with great traditions.

The stadium is going to be awesome. The boxes literally are 12’ off the playing surface. Movie theatre type seating plus a table with 4 chairs and the private suites have mini kitchen ensemble. 65” TVs.

We will never have your seating capacity but we will have amazing amenities. Give and take. As much as I would love to see us having a demand for 15,000-20,000 season tickets I don’t think it’s feasible or realistic. But the renovations for sure are going to crank up the interest.

You're a great poster and very helpful. The dome renovation looks very innovative; if there's a chance to post a picture or two, that would be great. So I must take back my caddy comment regarding the indoor practice facility, which we pursue. But we will still hold a grudge for you sending us Royce Engstrom, who set the this university and our football program back many, many years.

LOL. We knew we were behind in the race for excellence in football so it was cheaper to submarine your school that way then it was to spend far more money to build our program. I guess we voted to “sink” your school. To be honest I had to google his name and his ties to USD. I’ve never even heard of him. I guess I’ll say I’m sorry. Lol

If someone can teach me how to post a photo I’d be glad to do that. If you go to,our website you can see a live webcam showing the work. It’s starting to take a little shape. Really looking forward to having your Griz in Vermillion. Should be one hell of a game.

Last commercial today for the DakotaDome but a couple have asked to post photos. I don’t know how to do that but I can give you a website that shows photos of what the improvements are.
