76 T Colton Keintz RJr 6'8" 317(+13)
70 OL Skyler Martin RJr 6'5" 295(+11)
63 T Trevor Welnel RSo 6’4” 280(+10)
67 G Tyler Ganoung RSo 6'5” 328(+8)
71 G Kordell Pillans RSr 6’6” 330(-3)
68 G Cody Kanouse Jr 6’6” 313(-5)
74 OL Kukila Lincoln Fr 6’5” 242(-8)
77 G Moses Mallory RSr 6’3” 342(-8)
57 OL AJ Forbes RSo 6’4” 299(-11)

No longer on roster
75 T Sean Anderson RSo 6'7” 301
50 OL Jonny Granston RFr 6’5” 262

The only one I really question is Kukila Lincoln losing 8 pounds from 250 to 242.

I think the second biggest gain is not on the O-line or D-line.

If this is the starting O-line, I see why Hauck is a little excited. We have not seen this kind of size in over a decade. Average way over three spins:

KEINTZ 6'8" 317
PILLANS 6'6" 330
MALLORY 6'3" 342
GANOUNG 6'5" 328
COOK 6'6" 306

Also, if depth is Beaver, Kanouse, and Bloemendaal, they are all well over 3-spins too. That’s basically 9 out of 10 positions over 300! And the last two or so just under with Forbes at 299 and Martin at 295.

This line and depth seems even bigger than the ‘08-‘09 teams, and closer to ‘94-‘95 height and weight averages

Seven with starting experience.
C Skyler Martin RJr 6'5" 295
G Moses Mallory RSr 6’3” 342
G Kordell Pillans RSr 6’6” 330
G Tyler Ganoung RSo 6'5” 328
RT Colton Keintz RJr 6'8" 317
RT Dylan Cook RSr 6’6” 306
LT Conlan Beaver RSr 6'5" 316

Avg height 6’5.5”
Avg weight 319 lbs

I would pencil in Beaver over Keintz. Nice to have some size and experience on the OL for once.

Yeah Beaver is an all conference tackle so definitely agree.

I thought about that and you are probably right. Just seems like Keintz has experience and I thought Beaver may have had an injury issue. Who knows; I could be way off.
I also considered Forbes at center and Mallory back to right OG (where I think he could be the best in the BSC). Center seems like the biggest guess.

I agree with keeping Mallory at guard. I think the center battle is between Skyler Martin and AJ Forbes. For the past three years... have only been feeling better and better about the line each year.

Hope Sean Anderson isn't gone. He played with a bit of a nasty streak. He was on the cusp of starting.

Agreed. Hope he is still with the team, too.

Ditto - Love his attitude! Come on Back Mr. Anderson if you are indeed gone!

Well his dad wasn’t none too happy about playing a spring schedule here on eGriz. Said none of the kids wanted to play. I guess maybe he only meant his kid didn’t want to play.

Maybe this is hard for you to grasp but the University also decided that the spring season was stupid, that’s why it’s not being played. These 3 exhibition games aren’t a ‘spring schedule’.

A 3rd game has been scheduled?

Inside information.

Carroll College is playing a spring season and has a "Bye" scheduled the week of April 3rd. Wonder if that is a possibility. I would think they would like the money for their program to come over and play a game. Doesn't look like any of the other Frontier schools that are playing have the weekend of April 3rd open. Not sure if Western and or Tech is practicing this spring and would want a pay out for a game on April 3rd.

More importantly, is the roster omission just an error? Please tell me your son didn’t go elsewhere....

Anderson is no longer on the team. He was done a few weeks ago. Good kid, wish him the best.

That just sucks. He was the kid I was highest on out of that o-line class.

from a fan's standpoint it's awesome to see big, athletic linemen. but i can't help but worry for some of these guys' health later in life. if you're weighing in at 320+ in your early 20s you can face some serious weight and joint issues later in life. my brother was an offensive lineman for a small college back East, and he has struggled with weight and knee issues ever since his career ended over 15 years ago. sorry to be a downer, i hope they all have a great and healthy season!
